Our hosts could not have been more welcoming or more helpful. The room was spotlessly clean, nicely furnished etc and the breakfast was superb. We would not hesitate to recommend Walnut Lodge to others and will definately be staying there again

Everything, the styling was superb, superb including the quality of the bathroom soaps etc. The owners were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. The only negative which is only a minor thing, the en-suit could do with extractor fan

The owners were great hosts and offered to come and meet us when we got lost -nothing was a problem. The room was clean and and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast included everything we could have wanted for a perfect breakfast The water for the shower went cold and we think it was when other guests were showering at the same time. This was the only slightly negative experience we had.

The couple who run the guest house, Brendan and Tao, were friendly and welcoming. Our room was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The breakfasts were delicious and varied. We had a lovely stay.

It's a beautiful and charming house. Also the owner is very welcoming and friendly. It doesn't feel like a hotel but like you are visiting old friends. The room was really nice, with all the comfort of a new hotel. The English breakfast was really good as well as the fresh fruits. I will be definitely returning Everything was really good, so nothing to add.

We recieved a warm welcome from our hosts. Our room was gorgeous ,spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable, a bit too much as we both missed breakfast!!! We would definately reccomend this hotel to anyone. Excellant value for money

A very friendly welcome, clean and beautifully furnished rooms, superb breakfast, and reasonably priced. It's a fair way from the sea front and town centre, but no problem by car.
