The place was a wonderful country setting, near to an airbase which I had an interest in. The room was lovely with a view over fields and a couple of horses. It was a room with a history, probably about 300 years old, with a brass double bed, table and 2 chairs, settee and TV. A separate bathroom was specifically for our usage. The room had a walk in wardrobe and a little room off it containing a small fridge, microwave, kettle with shelves holdings cups, plates, cutlery and plenty things to eat or drink (ie bread and butter, a good selection of fresh fruit, jams, marmalade, cereal packets, milk, fruit juice, various individual tea packets and coffee sachets. bread, butter and biscuits and my dietary requirements helpfully catered for). The small town of Mildenhall was close enough to pick up pretty much whatever we needed. We arrived quite late in the evening, but the staff were very helpful welcoming and interested to help with what ever we needed. I would definitely like to stay there again. We enjoyed the locality with its charming small villages and the almost flat rural outlook. Loads of good pubs and places of interest nearby. Restful and relaxing throughout, and the staff were thoughtful and considerate and willing to be of help wherever and when ever needed.
