The room was large and the breakfast was good. We were going to a wedding opposite so for us it was a perfect location. The decor was interesting and the bathroom looked very tired. Far too expensive for a country side Hotel. I wouldn't stay there again as it is not worth the price.

Reception staff was helpful and welcoming, rooms clean and comfortable, food good, decor pleasantly 'old fashioned', good size car park, friendly staff. The only complaint we had as a family was the showers which did not held the temperature, fluctuated, difficult to adjust as well as turning on and off. Thank you for all your help and a pleasant stay.

The room was absolutely huge and really very comfortable whilst the staff were welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was lovely and so filling that after the delicious porridge, I couldn't eat the veggie breakfast that the chef had prepared for me.

This was a return visit, and the booking was first rate, and the Hotel just as we remembered previously, if somewhat more expensive! Unfortunately we had thought all rooms were on the ground floor, having stayed several times previously, but this time we were upstairs which was difficult for my wife with a fairly recent broken leg. However this was not a fault of the booking or the Hotel.

Very welcoming, friendly staff, large comfortable room, excellent food and service. The half board tariff includes an unrealistically small sum towards dinner, which is rather annoying and misleading.

We were stayng there for 2 nights because we were attending a wedding close by on the Saturday. We had good food and the service we had from the staff, including chambermaids, was excellent. We felt that the front of the Hotel (at ground level) and car park could be tidied up. Our room, which was not in the main part of the hotel, could do with some updating, although it was clean. .
