Staff were very friendly, and the rooms have everything you need and more!! Amazing location, a very romantic getaway! Paid a little extra to have breakfast delivered to our room. It sounds great in theory however when it was delivered our cooked full english breakfast was cold! Which ruined the experience a little!

Being situated above a storage room meant being kept awake until 2-3 in the morning listening to furniture being banged about.

Location - lovely surronding for a wedding. Deco was beautifull. Wedding breakfast was amazing - great steak. Service by staff was very average. My key card would not work and I had to keep walking back to reception to get it re configured - very tedious. No apology from reception, I just got told that the card was next to my phone so thats what happens?? But not 4 times. I asked the receptionist whether there was a way to get from the hall to coach house without going outside and she said "n0" only to find out later on that there was. No assistance with luggage - even when my friend was clearly having difficulty getting her bags through the door - 2 members of staff walked by. Also send email to hotel when room was booked bu no response to request for checking in early. Although on the actual day they did let us book in early.

The comfort of our rooms at the stables was extremely good, and very clean. The expanse of the property was beautiful, as one could walk around the lake and gardens, and the grave sites. One could really imagine life there in the early days. Breakfast in the main building was a beautiful experience, complete with white tablecloths and fine settings. The service, the quality of the food, as well as the wonderful view over the lawn, made us feel like royalty It wasn't the easiest to find. More directions from Walton Hall, and more street signs could be helpful for visitors from o/S. The hot water tank was on the other side of the wall, so that every time someone had a shower, one could hear the refill for about a decent 20 minutes.

Wonderful location, classic architecture etc. Great to walk from, fantastic setting, food excellent and all for the price of a Premier Inn. Only problem is the air con in the main rooms, it won t go below 18, so the room is too hot at night. Air con poor.

The setting is wonderful and all the staff we very polite and helpful. I used room 40 of the coach house on the first night and it was extremely hot on arrival, with the ehating on. Also the TV in the room only picked up about 5 channels all of which were very fuzzy and mistuned. My subsequent room 309 had airconditioning which made it much more comfortable, however it did not have an iron which took 30 minutes to be rectified.

Rooms were spacious and clean. The surrounding area is stunning and despite there being a wedding held there on the Saturday evening, the place remained peaceful. Staff are polite and well turned out. The service was very good for breakfast, but the service at lunch was slow. The serving staff, who were perfectly polite and careful to please, could be trained to be just that little bit better and it would make a massive difference to the overall quality of the place. Reception staff were very good.

The group of buildings is particularly nice, beautiful surroundings, architecturaly very attractive. A beautiful breakfast room. We got to the hotel at midnight, coming directly from the airport. No service at all available. Not even cookies and water. At the reception we were told that the room would have mineral water, and this would be all. Actually all we could get in the room was tap water to make coffee or tea. No service, not even a vending machine! Next to the room there was some extremly noisy heating central, that creates a strong vibration, this not being a good sleeping song at all!
