Easy to park. Great location. Very clean room and public areas.
Minor point - I found the staff a bit nosey but that's personal. Many guests would be happy to be questioned I'm sure.
Comfortable accommodation and excellent breakfast. Staff were very helpful at all times
Payment for wifi - not in keeping with the other aspects of this hotel. It is a shame that the owners try to levy this charge. As we need Internet access we might not stay again !! Could lose an otherwise satisfied customer!!
Only stayed one night for a visit to Tom Kerridge's Hand and Flowers. Location was good, just a 15 minute drive. Room was excellent, only booked a double but got a suite complete with lounge area and kitchen! Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast also excellent. Would recommend and would definitely stay again
Pillows too soft and only one each
Friendly staff, large parking lot, good English breakfast, large room, enough tv channels and very clean.
Wifi should be free and there could be more variation in the breakfast.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay , friendly staff, very clean comfortable rooms, enjoyable breakfasts. Management had taken into consideration that I was travelling with my elderly mother and had given us ground floor rooms. Should the occasion arise I would definitely return.
First time we stayed at this cottage/hotel. Our booking was for a suite, with kitchen facilities. The suite has entrance hall leading to: bedroom, bed comfortable well presented bedroom, drawers and wardrobe plenty of space, and tv. Lounge comfortable with larger tv and player. Bathroom large with bath shower etc. All towels and linen very clean. The whole property is well maintained and internally well decorated. The public bar, lounge reception areas clean and very tidy. Breakfast served in restaurant and is a wide choice, and cooked as you ask for. Thank you to all the staff for making us very welcom during our five day stay. There is a night porter so late arrival is ok, and parking is very good. Easy walk into maidenhead town. It's not cheap, but it is good value for money. I would rather stay here again than moan about a cheaper place to stay, without a corporate feel about the place. We'll be back.
Nothing but my observations are: I would have liked an answer to my questions via emails. ie late arrival and secure parking? May be the availability and free/chargeable use of wifi could be clearer.
Breakfast included kippers as an option. The room was, well, roomy. Plenty of free parking. At the weekend it is very quiet.
Hot water took ages to run. A lift would be nice to get luggage up the top floor. No free wifi
Our accommodation and the two evening meals we were able to have we very good value
the number of flights of stairs! Even with a lift we still had to negotiate two half flights to get to our room.
The hotel is in a great location, a ten minute walk to maidenhead town centre, a great base to explore Windsor, Marlowe, Henley, cookham. Very very clean. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Plenty of parking. Would definately recommend this hotel.
Staff, cleanliness & breakfast
Single Room adjacent to lift and corridor door that slammed
Spacious room with fridge, sink and microwave. Spotlessly clean. Helpful and professional staff. Good breakfast. Just a short walk into Maidenhead town centre.
Nothing really, although I would have preferred to have fresh fruit available as one of the breakfast choices. (Grapefruit & prunes were available)
The suite was expansive and comfortable, and provided quiet nights in the busy town of Maidenhead.
The August mornings were unusually chilly but there was no room heating. When told that it was difficult to judge when to switch it on, my response was our home-heating is constnatly governed by-time-of-day and thermostat.
Fantastic bathroom. Room very clean.
everything and the breakfast was great
Helpfulness of the staff, relaxed atmosphere. On my own I was made to feel welcome and at ease.
It was v. hot weather and room needed a fan.
The staff were very welcoming, the hotel was very clean & a good night sleep.
The shower in room 29 is very poor with only a trickle of water it really needs a power shower! The breakfast was very poor with small portions & a long wait to receive it.
The room was fantastic, even had a fridge and microwave which was an added bonus. The location is perfect, staff brilliant, breakfast beautiful. Cannot fault anything really....
All aspects of hotel were excellent, bedroom was huge and catered for all our needs, staff were so kind and helpful,I am sorry that I did not have the ladies name who was on duty when we arrived on Saturday morning, she was so pleasant, shame we could not eat at the restaurant that evening as it was closed but the receptionist recommended an Indian restaurant very close by and it was lovely, Thank you so much for a very pleasant stay, will certainly recommend this hotel to whoever is going to that location,
Nice and homely. Staff very warm and friendly. A walk to the office
the staff were friendly and helpful. the room was spacious and very clean. great parking facilities and very close to the business premises.
breakfast choices were limited. the room was too hot, there should be air conditioning facilities
The rooms were spotless and very large and comfortable. We had an executive room which was equipped with a microwave and fridge which was a nice surprise.
The tea & coffee facilities could have been better and the pillows were a bit flat!
Nice little Hotel. Very friendly and attending staff. Food was nice. You can have dinner and breakfast outside in the sun, that is great. Room was small but quiet and clean. Good location just a few minutes walk from Maidenhead City and train station
I´m not so happy with the duvets but I think thats an english thing.
Very handy for visiting restaurants in Bray and reasonably priced
Manager was quite grumpy and called to tell us we should vacant our room when we had agreed a late check-out on arrival. For a 3 star hotel I would expect a duvet rather than brown blankets on the bed.
