lovely old world charm and helpful happy people staff in a peaceful location room was a bit small and fusty (I suppose the small bit comes with building but the room needed a freshen up) the television controls were very poor and tired . |

Our room was ok but I think the whole place could do with a refurbishment. It was all quite old and antiquated and for the money we have stayed in better accommodation. |

A very enjoyable visit. The staff were great! The restaurant piano music over breakfast was hard on the ears first thing in the morning!... but thats all. |

A lovely place to stay for a relaxing break. Set in beautiful grounds with great views. We enjoyed staying there and made use of the local places to visit. The staff were friendly and helpful. Prices were pretty average for a hotel (bar prices) and the food (we had breakfast) was very good too. Overall a lovely place to stay and we would definitely go again. |

The Bar & Resturante Staff were lovely, very kind and could not do enough to help us, this helped (bearing in mind the comment below) as the night we stayed was my Birthday and my partner and I were celebrating. The reception staff were generally unhelpful and rude. When asked if they could help me they told me to come back in the morning |

The shower in the hotel room did not work - washing hair etc had to be done in the hand basin! On complaining was initially told yes we know, you have to let the water run for a while - explained water had been turned on for over 10 mins and nothing. Had a negotiate a reduction but would have preferred water! |

The room was much better than expected. The setting,we knew, was excellent. The male receptionist was helpful Bar staff should not be emptying pumps while the bar is open. Bar should not be full of empty glasses |
