The only issue was the fact that the hotel is very busy with course delegates. At times felt more like a college common room
Location, room and breakfast. Pretty good value for money
27 April 2015
Bedroom was a little tired with some minor repairs needing attention.
Full range of breakfast items well laid out and pleasant friendly staff.
20 April 2015
Main hallway and bedroom dirty Breakfast a joke room far to small for the buffet toaster did not work, lots of empty food trays so it was very disjointed trying to get a full plate of food there were a large amount of burnt items so in the end we gave up and had cereal, not at all the breakfast we were expecting
20 April 2015
The service in the dining room was poor and I had to set my own place for breakfast. The staff didn't seem to know what they were doing. The view from the room (5) would have been lovely if it hadn't been for the canopy/signage in front of the window
The standard of the accommodation was excellent in a beautiful location
18 April 2015
no air con
location olde worlde
17 April 2015
We had to move room, but had ours complimentary, so it was worth moving. The duty manager was very helpful. The grounds are amazing, with great views.
16 April 2015
The staff on the whole were extremely helpful and friendly. We had visited the hotel before and may have to again so we will be asking for a good ro next time.
We were initially given room 69
10 April 2015
Bathroom needed more attention particually with descaling around taps and shower screen.
Nice helpful staff, good bed, lovely setting
9 April 2015
no water in the room or biscuit to have with hot drink.
9 April 2015
drinks were a bit expensive. Room was quite warm
Lovely surroundings, relaxed atmosphere, good food
9 April 2015
We checked in late and the member of staff on the front desk was not the most competent.
7 April 2015
Room 20 was tiny with a hard double bed crammed into a small space on a noisy corridor. The shower had a floor plan smaller than two pieces of a4 and was almost impossible to turn around in. You couldn't sit on the toilet properly nor flush it as it too was crammed into a tiny space. All very disappointing as it was billed as a Superior Room - avoid!
Wonderful looking property but looks were deceiving.
6 April 2015
room and bathroom was a bit tired, needs a redecoration.
friendly and helpful staff, great grounds to the hotel. Good breakfast and our deal was great value for money.
4 April 2015
Breakfast was not worth the 15 pounds and WiFi kept dropping in the evening.
Lovely room and good bathroom. Reception and service was really good.
2 April 2015
The room. We stayed in the 'grange' - the room was cheap but not 'cheerful'. The be was small, as was the room; the decor was ropy; the bathroom was cold; and it was impossible to get into the shower without banging your head. The wifi was painfully slow.
30 March 2015
Didn't like location of the room. Rooms in the annex, which has no bar or restaurant, are a 15 minute walk away. So more like a B & B, except in a B & B breakfast isn't £15 on top.
Room was quite nice
29 March 2015
You actually stay in a separate annexe, 3 min walk away. Unmanned annexe, had a night with youngsters messing around til 3am. A definate no no for a business stop. Total con. Don't think you are stopping in a nice hall, its a joke.
24 March 2015
Arrived on Saturday to be told that as well as no restaurant for hotel guests due to a wedding the bar would be closed too which is unacceptable really. Wifi may be free but struggled to get connection anywhere on site
19 March 2015
quality of food
location bed bathroom
16 March 2015
The Grange - a tired business conference venue accommodation block. A shame and not representative of how the estate should be viewed.
The location, main house and grounds are wonderful representation of the countryside retreats close to the capital.
13 March 2015
The Grange is a separate location to the main hotel and a bit of a hike through the grounds if you wanted to use the bar. Parking there was a free for all.
Location was ideal for Farnborough. Beautiful settings with extensive grounds. Cant fault it at all.
9 March 2015
Lack of external lighting and signage made finding the room at the grange building difficult
Bar and food was excellent
5 March 2015
Very helpful, friendly staff, lovely main building and grounds. Excellent value for money.
1 March 2015
Check in is later than 2pm stated on booking.com not a problem to me but worth noting if you arrive at that time.although as soon as your room is ready they will try to get you in quickly which is great
Excellent location staff were polite and efficient
24 February 2015
Cleanliness, manager, wifi didn't work, location, food and beverage prices
The price - One night for £39 is cheap anywhere nowadays Reception and bar staff were both very good and the food was nice if not a bit overpriced
