Kindness and helpfulness of the staff
Long wait for the hot water was a bit disconcerting but it arrived eventually!
Hotel in good position, was able to walk into town, cinema and bowling near by also plenty of restaurant's. Black country musiumn walking distance. Breakfast was very good and plenty of choice.
room was good have stopped in better and worse, all facilities available just all a bit tired , shower and bathroom need updating but on the whole it was all acceptable
food was not very good staff were nice but the food was of poor quality i had the fish and chips the fish was like super market value range it was grey in colour and not very nice but cost £12 wish i had gone the chippie, all room , sheets ,bathroom clean but blood on bathroom mirror
Unknown stains on the carpet, broken flakey paintwork in the room. Curtains that didn't meet in the middle, dirty shower head and thermostat. Broken melamine around toilet. Broken light switches. No milk jugs in the restaurant at breakfast, you have to go up and get milk from the jug for the cereal. Not one table had enough cutlery on it for the number of seats at that table. When asked we were told to take it from another table. Bar area is part of the restaurant. Dirty glasses and empty bottles left on the bar from the night before. Avoid at all costs. If this place was £20 p/room it would be good value.
Stains on bed. Have photo if required. Tired throughout in dire need of refurb
All staff very friendly and welcoming. Comfortable room and food in restaurant very enjoyable, if a little limited in choice. Extremely good value for money.
Unfortunately when I had a shower the water ran cold and I ended up having to have a cold shower, which is not something I particularly enjoyed as it was February. I am not sure why this happened as it was not a peak time for showering - it was late morning as we were getting rady to attend a wedding.
Bed was stained, and the service disgusting and also the Rooms were very dirty. Cobwebs everywhere, dirt on the kettle and the mattress had really bad stains when I pulled back the sheet. I would not recommend this even 1 star let alone a 3 star.
The shower was not working waited for 30.mins for hot water but still was no
suitably locality, staff helpful
stairs in various places difficult for disability or elderly could do with a make over however ok for a few nights if attending a function in the area
room I was allocated had not been cleaned or bed made
Shower would not work
Staff very polite and helpful
Very run down in need of some TLC
very friendly and helpful staff.
Extra bed was a proper bed. £5 for accommodating a dog was very reasonable compared to other venues. Location for other every day eating venues was excellent as just across the main road together with a cinema. Space for the dog cage (however if you let your dog lose in the room there wasn't a lot of floor space. Breakfast chef friendly and accommodating as were the only guests having breakfast when we stayed. Television worked well and plenty of channels to choose from.
Bathroom was tired although was clean. Double bed only had a sheet over the mattress, no protector and the bed bases were getting old. Had to ask for the duvet cover to be changed as had marks on it and bottom sheet had a small hole. Name does not suit the venue as very basic and photographs on booking.com have been taken at best angle!
Any of it! Oh except the Nescafé sacheys but the kettle and cups were so dirty I didn't dare make a drink!
strong wifi breakfast comfy bed
Quality hotel I wouldn't ask anyone to book as no nice rooms they stink and I would say no lift facilities so hard with children j wouldn't prefer again sorry
