Lovely area, comfortable room, great selection of refreshments in room, excellent breakfast.
Difficulty parking because hotel was hosting a wedding reception. Popular venue for an event but some other guests were disturbed by noise.
Good size room, bathroom was big everywhere was clean staff were polite and helpful food was lovely. We came to go to Thorpe Park which was only a short drive away.
Great location, river Thames right outside our window, very clean, staff were lovely, great night sleep no loud noises. Breakfast was lovely but the portions were small. Great stay overall. :)
Cooked breakfasts were more like a child's breakfast.
nice Italian restaurant round the corner.
Shower didn't work properly and smell in bathroom
Location. Staff very nice. Very good breakfast.
We changed rooms due to mix up and bed second night not very comfortable, need new pillows!!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable room apart from small bathroom
Bathroom quite small for a double room
View from our room. Beautiful.
All in all pretty clean and comfortable and facilities were fine such as they were.
A little dated in terms of decor, but no big deal. Kitchen was closed following a fire, but we ate out anyway.
Perfect for our trips to Thorpe Park and Chessington.. Lovely breakfast, would deffinitly use again
Location, Breakfast, level of care to intentionally see you enjoy your stay.
Availability of the parking for guests. However it's what can be done is responding to it and the staff were friendly and resolved. Level of nearby pub noise till very late...
peaceful setting cleaniless friendly and helpful staff lovely groundfloor room overlooking the thames comfortable room and bed lovely village feel to area cooked breakfast other returning guests helpful and friendly the whole of the hotel/ village very welcoming and friendly.
Staff. They were helpful and courteous.
We had to eat at the Anchor due to the kitchen being out of action. The continental breakfast on offer there was very poor and limited
friendly hotel,staff helpful
parking can be very difficult
the breakfast over the road at the sister hotel whilst the hotel's kitchen was being refurbished. the cleanliness of the hotel room, nice cosy size,
lack of parking on arrival due to non residents using the parking for the local pub, despite requesting that there would be sufficient parking onsite I had to park infront of the sister hotel. Not far away to be a real concern, but I would have preferred more secure parking.
Location was quiet and pretty
Need a car to get around
Location and gardens
Breakfast tea was very weak
They told me it was very nice and that you put a complimentary bottle of wine in the room. How lovely, thank you so much!
One young man at the reception was not polite, he was rude and he does not know how to do his job!
Very clean Good linens Generously stocked tea/coffee tray Nice furniture Spacious for a single
Needs renovation - squeaky floors, drab corridors etc Entry door to room fit badly, let in sound / light and didn't feel secure
Staff were excellent from the cleaners up to management very polite and helpful. Food at Anchor was good and good size portions. Great place for walks and Warren outside patio was relaxing watching boats sailing by. Lovely village atmosphere and plenty of choices of eating places in village and nearby. Returning back in October for a long weekend with hubby.
Though the rooms were clean they were tired looking and when running bath pipes made a lot of noise. Though no fault of hotel management walls are fairly thin thus making you hear every noise from next door rooms.
Location was good and the village atmosphere very nice. The staff were attentive and the room comfortable.
No restaurant facilities and having to go across to the pub for breakfast
Didn't know until arriving that kitchen was out of action due to a fire 13 weeks previous.
Location. Comfortable family room.
Hotel felt a bit 'tired'. Needs a refurb.
