Score from 194 reviews Very good
clean rooms and plenty of sitting and chairs large tv nice and warm rooms
place was full with forein contracters and their big vans slamming van doors 5.30 am when they were going to work waking kids up each morning also found the staff very rude after I had made remark that the cooker was not working properly and curtain was missing preventing privercy at night
chalets were basic but clean, site had good facilities
shower didn't work and tv was on the blink in one of the chalets
The chalet was clean and had everything we needed. The radiator was stuck on, making it hot, but a repair was sorted out very quickly. The restaurant was quiet, the service was good as were the food and drinks. We could park right next to the chalet.
We had to check in at the bar and it was very noisy and more like a working man's club. Felt a bit uncomfortable in some parts of the site as groups of men were hanging round outside chalets drinking and smoking. Had to pay more than stated on Booking.com form as we were charged for using a credit card.
Nothin really to like
I dident like how small the room was also how erly the bar shut but my 2 main biggest hates was how thin the Walls are in are room an how noise the cars on the m5 wer.also the sevice at breakfast was orful we had to fire with are cutlery as it was stuck to the table so all round disgusting
Restaurant. Good meals at reasonable prices. Good ambience with very friendly staff
Family bungalows , free parking
No towels in bathroom - staff ask me to pay £2 per towel ?????
There was no bin in the bathroom.
Very friendly staff, made to feel welcome
Friendliness of staff and other people staying in village. Cleanliness of chalet.
"Superior room" was sparse, the bed was uncomfortable, fixtures and fitting were poor quality. Poor young man attempting to serve breakfast on his own - tried his best but was rushed off his feet. The bar was 1970's style. Broken appliances were not in a covered safe area and grounds were not very pleasant at all.
The excellent food in the restaurant And the warm welcome from the staff
No form of heating in chalet,so during the night it became quite cold
It was clean
The smell Also had a problem with debit card transaction the bank call me the day after and told me to cancal my card the only payment made for 2 wks was at this place?
Chalet not clean No soap of any kind!
The shower and cooked breakfast.
Bleach and paint on towls, mattress very poor quality, hairs in chest of drawers, chipped mugs and no teaspoons in room, dummy bedside lamp waste of space, curtains very thin.
We liked the welcome, and the space to eat and drink, and good hot food. Our room was nice and big and a good qualify TV.
Our heating failed during the night so we were very cold, and subsequently no hot water next day. It took a while to have it corrected so we were late out. We also thought checkout time is a little early, most hotels give you till 11 and some 12.
Very clean, staff were excellent. This is basically a campgroung/caravan park with mobile homes converted into hotel rooms. There is no reception, we picked up our keys at the bar/restaurant counter. Staff were extremely nice and helpful. Although our rate did not include breakfast. We paid separately and it was very good. Overall a good value for the money and fullfilled our needs.
Location near motorway
Location Helpful staff And price Cleanness Good breakfast on the final day. Nice hot running water and a great shower
Bed out level Breakfast on the first morning as only one member staff trying to do the job of three. TV remotes.all the battery's gone or flat.
The lodge I was given was a little more sheltered from the M5 'drone' than last time I stayed here. Very comfortable and clean. No un-necessary frills - just the essentials for a decent stay. I'm self-employed so budget is everything to me when working away from home and this place gives excellent bang for buck. Well outside 'holiday season' so very quiet and restful...no kids!
The tracks on site and the lane leading to the site are hard on the suspension! The nearby AM (BBC 5 Live) radio transmitter tends to swamp mobile phone reception somewhat.
friendliness of staff, clean and tidy, restaurant on site is excellent for quality and quantity, fair prices as well.
Hot water for washing and showering. Clean room, good price.
No heating on, which is fine when the evenings are warm but it was cold the night we stayed. service for breakfast was slow, we had to wait nearly half an hour to get our breakfast. the food was good though.
Clean but sparse . Views OK well maintained site - road approach not too good.
Room was cold and noisy from adjacent cabin. Had to get extra blanket from car. Other resident no: 63 parked in all available space ! Did move when asked on return to chalet. Very old poor quality TV
Radiator leaking, room dirty , had to ask for towels , noisy boiler , shower not working properly on arrival, windows wouldn't close , had to ask for coat hangers.
All of it!
Clevedon itself is nice Convenient to visit our Son Cheap Staff in the Angelina restaurant were friendly. Breakfast not bad Room a good size Would return if it was upgraded and renovated.
Old fashioned Lots of rubbish on view Tatty furniture Nothing matched Room smelt Bathroom had no blind, no shelving no toilet roll holder and wasn't very clean. Taps were noisy Horrible towels You could hear your neighbours 3 pillows between 2 Exterior tatty Stated as superior but very basic.
