This Country House B&B is in a beautiful house in a gorgeous location. It was lovely and quiet and our room was tastefully decorated, with a stunning big 4 poster bed and the most comfortable mattress I have slept on in ages. Our room had all the facilities we could want including a good powerful shower, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, trouser press and even a safe. This is definitely worth its 5 star rating. The owner Rowena was incredibly helpful and friendly and we felt like nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was first class!! Highly recommend.

The house is perfectly situated in a charming village in Sussex for exploring the local countryside and coast. I had a peaceful and restful stay and would recommend this B&B to family and friends without hesitation. Excellent comforts, sumptuous breakfasts, warm hospitality (Rowena is gracious and genuine), lovely grounds, and even a pool. Two rooms have four poster beds. All have high ceilings and plenty of natural light. Antiques throughout the house. Books and dvds ready for use. Perfect for me.

Ignore any old photos from previous guests as all rooms have been renovated and decorated since then to a high standard.

We appreciated the flexibility and understanding of our unique situation even though it caused the owners considerable inconvenience due to our very late arrival for which we apologise again!. Everything exceeded our expectations and we hope to return again soon. The breakfast was the best we have ever encountered in dozens of establishments across the country - far better than any 5* London hotels that we have experienced. The variety offered and above all, the quality and service was exceptional.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike or complain about.
