Just love this place seeing as I got married there the weekend and stayed there the night before my wedding and so did some of my guests .I even asked if they would section of an area for pre drinks before the church, of which was not a problem.Great place love it

The only thing I don't like is I can't get booked for this weekend as we are going to the cotswolds again for the second part of our honeymoon !!!!!!!!"

Food and accommodation. This is the second time that I have stayed at this hotel. On both occasions the food was good and the accommodation was excellent. I will probably visit again.

Parking for residents. I feel that this aspect needs improving, I would suggest that each room is allocated a parking bay. Smell from the bin area. This was quite offensive and if your room was near, it would change your whole view of the Inn. It is probably the bins themselves as I am sure that the contents are emptied on a regular basis, with the quantity of waste, I would suggest that they are cleaned and disinfected on a very regular basis.

The location was really good. The breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly. Good parking facilities.

Our accommodation was quite dark downstairs and lacked homeliness. The bedroom needed a chair or something to put our suitcase and clothes on. The bathroom also could do with a free standing towel/clothes stand. The bigger TV in the bedroom would have been better downstairs and the smaller one in the lounge put upstairs.

The staff were very friendly, the bedroom was very comfortable and spacious, we had both bath and seperate shower. The food was excellent. The Inn is situated right next to a river and the grounds are really nice and peaceful to enjoy a drink in the afternoon.

The only thing we didn't like was the squeaky floor boards in the room above us.

Everything: the room , the comfy bed, the shower, the food and the outdoor patio/lawn area was so relaxing. We didn't have children travelling with us but it was just lovely for families.

The location. Bedroom and bathroom were great. Comfy bed and pillows.

The view from our bedroom window was terrible. All we could see was a roof and considering the location we were very disappointed so wouldn't pay £230 again. Make sure you don't get the Godolphin room.

Love the Cotswolds, just adore The Slaughters, just the way an English village should be, peaceful, quaint and beautiful. The hotel is lovely, the staff are helpful. Breakfast was delicious. We were a little disappointed with afternoon tea, as the sandwiches were a little dry, but the scones more than made up for it, best I've ever tasted. Gorgeous gardens, and dog friendly too, can't wait to go back.
