Washington Mayfair Hotel  

The hotel is located in a very nice area with many restaurants around, a coffee shop and supermarket are in front of the hotel. The hotel is also strategically located within walking distance of most of the attractions and shopping. The room is well decorated, nice and clean with complementary coffee in the room and free internet.

Rooms excellent ant I particularly like being able to book two interconnecting rooms at this hotel.

Its a nuisance having no conditioner - we had to go out and buy some this year and last. One robe for two guests is ridiculous.

i was pleasantly surprised with the design and comfort of the room. the bathroom was great and the room was spacious and very well appointed.

all and all the hotel is terrific and i would highly recommend. on a note, the hallways were incredibly hot and the room would wouldn't cool down without opening the window. maybe the ac was off, but it was very warm. also the pillow were cheap. i prefer down pillows.

Good clean hotel with friendly staff for the best part of the stay.

Staff at counter took ages and seemed uninterested in our initial complaint of being put into a smoking room when non smoking was requested. Thought an air freshener would do. Problem was rectified in the end after a lot of wasted time and complaining which would otherwise wise be a perfect score throughout.

Rooms are toooooo hot, this is not about Eco and green. Hotel manager (ms) is quite arrogant. Other staff is very nice.

Location is ideal. Room design was interesting without being over-the- top or distracting. The service was friendly and attentive. Overall, this was a functional and comfortable hotel that worked very well for my business trip.

Only problems were minor: free wifi was very slow, so opted for ethernet cable connection, which cost gbp13 per 24 hours; desk chair seemed mildly rickety.

Was a bit unsure about making the booking after reading trip adviser and some of the reviews but the hotel was better than expected. Great location we could walk everywhere we wanted to go or grab the tube at Green Park. Staff were helpful, room was nice and a nice size and it was nice and quiet, Only issue we had was with our key as they have an electronic system that plays up at times but nothing that ruined our stay. Would highly recommend.
