Comfort, relaxing, very clean and very friendly staff

hotel staff very pleasant and help full. nothing was too much for them to do. room was very clean and accommodated our needs. The breakfast was lovely once arrived and was nice to see staff working as a team even under pressure.

needs to adjust the all you can eat breakfast in the way it is served. even though the breakfast is cooked to order this can take over an hour to get especially on busy weekends. Not enough staff to deal with the demand. Employ more staff .

Everything. It was a great stop. The staff were wonderful - all of them. And the breakfast was better than we had expected.

Friendly staff at reception and breakfast service. Rooms very clean and quiet. Would recommend highly to family and friends visiting Sunderland area. Ideal for an overnight stay when visiting family or on business.

I liked how friendly and helpful the staff were. The facilities were good value for money and I'd definately stay again.

The first night was a bit noisy at one point but the second night I slept really well.

We were travelling with our 10 year old grandchild she was made to feel as welcome as we were . The lady on reception the night we checked in was extremely helpful and friendly . Excellent customer care .

The bed!! Have got to say it was the most comfortable thing I have ever slept in. Want one!

Staff extremely friendly and helpful right down to suggesting eating places and places of interest with good directions. Disabled room spacious and comfortable. Wet floor bathroom very well set up. Extra quilts and pillows given immediately on request.

Only complaint would be that the bathrooms had no heating or extractor fans making them very cold and overly wet and slippy when using shower.

Clean, fresh and welcoming.

The bed was rock hard. My wife didn't get much sleep as the bed was so hard and uncomfortable. For a brand new hotel I was surprised that there was no razor point in the bathroom for my electric razor.

The breakfast was good.

The toilet area smelt of urine.

Very convenient location friendly staff

The same of the room was disappointing. The website when booking showed a much bigger room with room for a family. We felt squashed, like sleeping in a corridor. The loo smelt unclean.

No bath Booked 2 double beds but only got 1 plus an uncomfortable single plus settee to sleep on Noisy all through night Located next to lift which kept my family awake

The location is not ideal, I.E. neither close to town near shops and restaurants, or (alternatively) out in the country side.
