The hosts were sublime. So welcoming (even carried my bag) and the room was gorgeous. Excellent location with fantastic restaurant a 5minute walk and 2 minutes from the beach. The bed was comfortable and shower was amazing. Breakfast was exceptional with a selection of fresh fruit, full English, cereal and more. I cannot rate this B&B highly enough. Many thanks again. We will visit again soon.
Beautiful location, excellent service. Lovely room & perfect breakfast. Would not hesitate to use again.
Very handy for seafront strolls etc. Owner was very friendly and accommodating, and seems to have a lot of returning clients. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choices. Excellent bathroom and instant hot water - maybe too hot!
Nothing really, except no amenities very nearby. Its a car drive to find a choice of places to eat out. Wouldn't put me off going back though.
The room was comfortable. It was a quiet location close to the beach. The breakfast was fantastic
friendliness; the welcome; good breakfast; 2 minutes from Avon Beach
Excellent breakfast, comfortable bed, immaculately clean and warm room, superb shower. friendly welcome, parking.
The standard of cleanliness was excellent. Also the room/en suite was so well equipped with some extra touches that made all the difference. Also the Proprieter was so welcoming and charming producing an excellent breakfast which, really I don't think could have been improved upon. Will definitely stay here again when I visit the area, which is often.
Parking was a bit restrictive but was adequate.
The home cooked breakfasts, and charming owner!
There was nothing not to like about the Water's Edge!
Very friendly greeting on arrival, beautiful rooms which were spotless, and comfortable. Everything you could need provided including use of a fridge to keep our drinks cold. Close to the beach, close to wedding venue, choice of eating establishments nearby. Amazing breakfast, fresh fruits, porridge and lovely Full English with proper butcher's sausage.
Nothing bad to say
Just about everything!
Would have liked a grab rail in the shower. One elderly lady would have liked its reassurance.
We had all those lovely little extras available to use. The place was spotlessly clean. The owner was very friendly.
The bedroom was a little small
Everything except the price
This is an expensive B &B but the quality of everything is excellent and I thoroughly recommend it
We loved the care that our hosts put into looking after our comfort. Our every want was met, usually it had been anticipated and catered for before we asked. The tasteful furnishings, clean napery and big bowls of fresh fruit and compote of plums made our stay delightful.
lovely people very friendly exceedingly clean and great choice of breakfast. Will be going back and would recommend it to anyone.
parking was a little cramped and on a steep incline.
We stayed here for a Wednesday and Thursday night and highly recommend the Water's Edge. The rooms are comfortable, modern and clean with everything you need and breakfast is fab with a wide choice available. The owner Jayne could not have been lovelier or more helpful.
lovely landlady room and bathroom excellent very comfortable bed a massive choice for breakfast and cooked to your liking every thing has been thought of here even down to supplying ear sticks
I could not fault waters edge
We can only reiterate what every other guest has already stated - everything was of a 5 star standard. Prior to this, we have twice stayed at the Harbour Hotel in Mudeford, so in comparison, this guest house was amazing value. If you are lucky enough to find they have a vacancy available, book it, you will not be disappointed.
Convenient and adequate B&B for one night stay. Close to beach and facilities.
Accommodation okay for short stay, but no dislikes.
A very welcoming and accommodating host who went out of her way to meet our needs. A really delicious breakfast too!!
Friendliness of staff and chatting to other guests at breakfast. Everything was thought of for guests comforts.
Location of B&B is on a busy noisey main road
Very clean and comfortable room , lovely location, only a short walk to the beach and harbour , great breakfast , parking on site
Nothing to dislike
Very nice people who run this guest house, they want your stay to be enjoyable. The breakfast is excellent in nice surroundings. The beach is less than a five minute walk with easy parking if you take a car.
Not a thing.
Nothing was too much trouble for the owners they were friendly and welcoming and eager to please. Location very central 3 minutes to the beach 10 minutes to a variety of pubs and restaurants. Plenty of supplies for drinks in the room including bottles of water and fresh milk. Breakfast excellent.
Having to come home.
Great location across the road from Avon Beach. Charming and friendly welcome from owner. Spotlessly clean and superbly equipped twin room with everything you might need - even bathrobes and a sewing kit. The fridge for guests' use is a thoughtful touch, as is the provision of crockery etc on request for take-aways in the dining room. I could go on and on...
