Location and breakfast was good
Room smelt of smoke and areas of damp in bathroom
Reception staff were excellent and it continued through the rest of the staff, restaurant roommate service and security
Not a lot! Key cards were temperamental but no problem getting re-programmed
The bed was actually comfortable and the meal in the dining room was very nice.
The hotel is in serious need of a make over. There was mildew in the bathroom and the room did not feel overly clean. The carpeting throughout was very worn. We could only get WiFi in the lobby.
The member of staff at check in was friendly and helpful when I asked to have my room changed as the bathroom was filthy.
The first room I checked into had not been properly cleaned. The bathroom - especially the toilet was filthy! Also when I was given my room key my room number was said out loud and as a solo female customer this should not have happened. Will not stay here again.
The food by far is the best from all of the hotels I have stayed in, around this price range. Even with the more expensive hotels, the Waterfoot wins hands down. Great menu cooked well. I stayed in a twin room that hadn't been upgrade like the newly renovated rooms. But it was clean and tidy. The mattress did feel quite soft and bumpy, and on the verge of needing replaced. But that was the only thing.
so peaceful and quiet, central for half a dozen shopping centers.hop and a skip to the giants causeway
my mistake i booked a twin room instead of a double
The restaurant food, evening meal and breakfast were tasty and really good quality. The staff were very approachable, friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were huge!
The shower had mould on the joints
Breakfast and very helpful staff
Too much noise late at night/early morninG
Wine bar area and reception area are both top class.
Rooms very antiquated. Old fashioned and lacking modernisation. Reception and bar give a totally different impression, room's are a complete let down.
The staff were friendly and helpful Food was excellent We were attending at a family funeral!
The hotel is not wheelchair friendly!! We had to access 4 sets of double doors where there was no method of retaining the door whilst manhanding the wheelchair.
The staff and the food and also free car parking.
Rooms and en-suite need refurbished, and quite abit of traffic noise if you leave the windows open.
nice friendly place, staff helpful, food excellent, would go back again.
perhaps a little far from city, but then again close to main roads for travelling to other destinations.
fire alrm went off twice during the night, cleaners opened the door 3 times in space of 25 min without knocking @ 8 in morning as i was trying to get ready, had shower in morning and fire alarm went off again due to shower and again, and again knock on door while trying to change
Food was beautiful Staff were helpful Room was clean Everything was perfect
Toilet sometimes wouldn't work
Reception staff were lovely and food was excellent. Rooms are fine and on both nights we stayed they were very clean
Partys on at weekends so be prepared with earplugs if your near reception.
Shower not working but not hotels fault it was workers outside of hotel
Staff.cleanses.food.and service excellence
Lovely clean room staff more than friendly! The breakfast was lovely, I could not find fault with it or indeed anything during my stay! I would definately return!
Liked the place itself and loved the warm reception we received at the desk. The room was well furnished and very clean and we were given a quiet one so no noise to disturb us. The location worked perfectly for us too, a lovely neighbourhood and the hotel is well concealed from the residential houses nearby. The price was well pitched for the standard.
I absolutely hate it when there is insufficient shelf space in a bathroom and sadly this was the case here. Our only other negative would be the mattress which we would expect to find in a cheap hostel - well past its sell by date. One of the worst we have experienced sadly. Far too bouncy, no support
Restaurant is excellent.
Location of our room...near smoking area. Breakfast appalling.
The food and restaurant where great.
The staff did not help at all, we were there for 1 night and could not get anyone to unlock the safe in the room so we could use it. There was a layer of dust on the phone, and we where keeper awake most of the night by other guest fighting outside our room.
Great location for Derry and the airport.
The food and the staff were very friendly indded and coul dnot do enough for us. The dining facilities wer attreactively laid out and the opening times very wide. The booking did not need any deposit and payment and the costs were very reaosnable.
The rooms we were in were a bit tired and could really do with a freshen up, no safe in one room (110) and a drawer hanging off. Wifi and TV were slow and sometimes the delay in speech to picture was very obvious, but this could be the general area rather than a hotel issue.
Breakfast very good and staff friendly
Matress of bed, terrible.....
