The reception staff were welcoming. The room was comfortable and there was everything you needed except for shoe cleaning material. Also the vacuuming was not very thorough. The evening meal in restaraunt was very good with a good atmosphere. The location on the canal is very good although the canal in parts needs cleaning up. There is a lot of rubbish in it right outside the room window. Excellent place for a stopover if you are in the district.

Effecient, friendly staff. Very good breakfast, I was early (8.30 on Sunday) so the breakfast room was quiet and relaxed. Travelled by train so location couldn't be better, a short walk from the station. Right in the middle of Brighouse. Have stayed here before and have had excellent rooms however this time while the room was large the twin beds were against the wall in a small area. One was against a radiator. Didn't matter as I was on my own but would have asked to move if I had a companion with me. Otherwise everything else absolutely fine as usual.

We booked this on price, flash deal, to attend a function. The room was small and the shower was in need of refurbishment, there were some cracked tiles and quite a lot of mould/mildew around. Other than that it was fine.

Very helpful staff and friendly too. The restaurant was very busy but served our food quickly, on nice hot plates, and was to a good standard, we enjoyed what we had, reasonably priced. The bathroom only had a shower, but the shower screens need a good clean and the floor needs attention as there were some splits in it. The function room music went on until about 12.30am which we could not get to sleep till it finished.

The rooms were noisy, but looked good. The shower tray was broken, and the room was a little small. The breakfast was good and the food would probably be good at night but we ate elsewhere. The parking was pay and display which is a negative, and the hotel has quite an early checkout.
