Friendliness. Curtesy. Helpful. Cleanliness. Every aspect of our stay.
Paid public carpark!
Breakfast was good. Staff helpful
Very, very poor state of shower room. Smallness of bedroom. Decoration shabby. General ambiance lacking
I always stay at the Waterfront when I am in Brighouse on business. I find it comfortable and unfussy. The food quality is very good and there is a good range of drinks at the bar. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
There are a lot of long corridors and stairs to be negotiated when finding your room, which can be confusing. This might not suit someone who finds it hard to get around.
location no fuss excellent service excellent food excellent staff nice reward system for regular guests
shower unit tight fit-why not curtains instead? car-parking-easy to forget to pay-maybe hotel could have a ticket system for guests
Location and breakfast great
Floor board creaking and corridor door banging
Staff were welcoming and efficient. Good nights sleep. Excellent choice of food for breakfast.
Bathroom - the shower cubicle was thick with mould and mildew and there were no obvious attempts to clean this off. Toilet roll holder was rusty and odd toilet seat. Neither of us would use the shower and raised this with reception, suggesting that they purchased a mould and mildew remover spray to avoid further complaints about this.
Location to restaurant
Bed was small Room was too hot even with radiators off Very noisy with window open Broken sleep Mould in shower Broken shower head attachment Broken toilet roll holder
Great size, kitchen, lounge & en suite. Extremely comfortable bed. Crisp clean bedding.
A little tired. Carpet was badly stained.
Friendly staff,good restaurant downstairs,highly reccomended
Room on the small side
For an overnight stop when away on business its fine
Breakfast chaotic, staff all over place ,food though ok
Handy to town centre and canal walks. Comfortable beds. Excellent quality and variety of breakfast. Pleasant staff.
Iron post from floor to ceiling by bed to be dodged, or walked into, needed remembering at night! Continual buzz/hum from fans/large metal tubes immediately outside bedroom windows prevented any sleep (learned next day they should have been turned off). Ensuite door closer creaked loudly and opened a gap in the door frame. Light over desk not working.
paying for parking
Comfy bed Clear sheets
Long trek to room No private carpark
The hotel was in a great location for what we wanted. The staff were friendly and very helpful and breakfast was lovely.
We found our room to be a lot smaller than we expected and a bit cramped. With hindsight we should have paid a bit extra and upgraded.
It was a great venue for the party we attended. All the staff were very professional and the food was excellent. The breakfast was very good and our room was comfortable.
We were staying in a room in the original part of the hotel and unfortunately the bathroom needed quite a lot of work. It was not very clean e.g sink and bath drains and all in all the decor was very run down
Staff helpful breakfast very good
upstairs was rather a maze with some rooms hard to get to
The breakfast , cleanliness, lovely location by the canal.
loud music from the bar till 1a.m, noisy main road outside, windows would not shut properly.
Friendly staff , good food
The smell of garlic in the hotel. £6 Parking charges
The bed was lovely and comfy.
The Hotel had a party on and the music was that loud it was shaking the light fittings in the room and it was impossible to sleep.
Clean and relatively quiet. Bed a bit soft. Did not use WiFi so can't really comment on it. Breakfast excellent. I would recommend it.
staff very nice and helpful.very clean and a first rate breakfast
bit noisy with the sub station opposite with the windows open.no other issues.
Breakfast was fab, plenty of choice albeit the front of house a bit scatty asking same question 3 times, not taking our order etc. Location was good for us as down from Scotland for Wedding.
Bathroom smelled really damp. Shower "cubicle" was barely big enough to move around in without spraying water everywhere. Had to use 3 of the 4 towels to just dry the bathroom floor so didn't slip. Rooms very warm & fan quite noisy hence the average sleep.
Helpful and friendly staff WiFi good Clean and Comfortable room
Room looked out on main road and was a bit noisy.
The breakfast downstairs in Prego was good.
The hotel was poorly located next to a derelict site, the rooms were dirty (I did not shower or use the wc). The doors to the rooms were ill fitting which meant the whole stay was noisy. The hotel was generally very noisy and the extractor fan in the shower room was noisy and seemed to take an age to switch off.
The whole stay was great staff wear great
The black molde in the shower
