Beautiful location with lakeview and moutainview. Located along a tranquil lake, with a pier only a few minutes walk away where sightseeing boats come. Tidy and cosy room to made me and my wife happy to stay. Satisfied with breakfast both in quality and quantity. Staff was too busy so it took us a while to check in. Not a big problem, though. |

Room very nice view from bedroom window very relaxing looking out onto the garden. Thought the bar for residents could be made a little cosier and not so bright looking, lighting to be dimmed down. |

the premises were clean/warm/comfortable with magnificent views. Staff were friendly and professional in their approach. Excellent breakfasts Evening meal menu was rather limited and expensive. More varied menu required with more reasonable prices. If a dish is offered there should be enough portions for every diner to partake. Sadly one evening there was a large demand for certain dishes and late diners missed out |

Location, views from bar and breakfast room Way overpriced for the quality delivered! Uninspired staff, tired decor, outdated room and bathroom, cleanliness of bathroom. Such a shame, with this great location, building full of character and wonderful views... |

The hotel was much better than some of the reviews on the internet suggested. I had previously stopped for breakfast with my son while on a climbing trip and from that visit I was happy to book for our family weekend. We enjoyed a really relaxing weekend. The views from our bedroom was stunning. Hope to come back one day soon. Very friendly and helpful staff. |

Pleasant surroundings, good food, staff were busy but polite, felt at home. Rooms were small but well heated with an en-suite which was very good and very clean. Car park could have done with re doing lots of surface water. |

Location Evidence of leaking roof causing plaster and decoration damage in guest bedroom. I feel this should have been dealt with before the room was let |
