Score from 118 reviews Very good
Very thin walls - could hear virtually every word spoken in the neighboring room who appeared to be having a party late in the night and who ignored my protests. No night time staff to resolve the problem. Gave me a 20% discount next morning but that didn't really compensate for a very disturbed night.
as a well traveld person i could not fault the esablishment in any way shape or form evryuthing was exellent the staff are an asset to the cumpany well done everyone
Really good for a one night stop.
Breakfast was ok but the hairdryer did not work
Very clean, friendly staff, evening food was excellent and good value for money
To Early breakfast for a weekend, breakfast not as good as evening food. Cold cup of tea from flasks.
Everything food was lovely to
Bedroom very gloomy even with all lights on. Sofa on room looked inviting. Turned out to be saggy and uncomfortable and difficult to get out if. No receptacle for used tea bags at breakfast. Doesn't get the day off to a good start. Generally a disappointing experience.
Staff are all excellent, nothing is too much trouble, even helping me with local housing knowledge.Food is well cooked and good value. Great atmosphere.Would use again without hesitation.
Hash browns, but I had to dig deep to think of anything at all.
Food always takes quite a long time to be prepared and is not always as hot as I would like.
Having rooms at the pub means it's very easy to get a drink and something to eat
Difficult to sleep with the noise of people outside the pub which is very noisy from the bedroom atea
Couldn't really fault it; good rooms good food lovely staff exceptional value for money would visit again and definitely recommend it
Good food nice room great stay.
Breakfast a bit rushed.
food, friendly staff.
dark room, not too warm in places.
Good size rooms and not very noisy.
Door to dinning area (and way out) was locked in the morning. Had to phone manager to open the door. Not enough staff at breakfast.
Th food was excellent, staff where friendly and helpful. Good parking.
booked a twin room but on arrival given a double, which for 2 males on business was no good. Staff however quickly solved the issue and swapped for a family room at the same price
Packing problem and busy place on the day with dinners
Location was okay just of M5
Room was okay but issues with bed frame which should have been picked up by staff. Loose metal bar, support, hanging underneath bed. Outlook of room to rear of property overlooked a car park, that wasn't a problem, but right outside the opening door/window was the most scruffy small bistro table supposed to entice you outdoors ..... was not appealing in the slightest. Shower room was okay .. no bath in this room. Service in the restaurant was very poor, meal was not up to much, drinks took for ever. Breakfast was okay but didn't care for taste of bacon and sausages were cheap. Would not stay again.
Staff friendly. Food good and value for money
No hot water as the boiler is too, small for the size of the property . Staff told us that every day during the summer there was not enough hot water for the number of guests. We waited for 2 hours for the water to heat and no success so we checked out.
Very friendly staff, nice clean room, powerful WiFi and comfortable bed. I enjoyed my two days very much.
Shower was very small
The staff were very helpful and friendly the service was excellent and great value for money great location just off the m 5 motorway we will definitely recommend it
all is excellent, rooms great, food so good, staff so nice friendly, really i dont have nothing to tell any bad things all only positive, thank you so much for excellent service.
There's no reception area so you just walk into a pub and go to the bar to be checked in. Very awkward!!

Nothing of note
Entrance to room from outside terrace rather than hotel; road noise; noise from others on terrace; 2 electrical items had pat test failure stickers on dating back to july!
easy access with good wifi. Nice beer and bar.
Beds not made up on arrival had to diy. Food of poor inconsistent quality and 14.00 for mixed grill expect more than 1 mushroom. Rooms noisy as staff use corridor to exit at night but without any consideration. Room for three with one teaspoon and one packet of biscuits?????Room too dark because the foliage outside needs sorting as well as all the broken furniture there. In fact its all soppy stuff that adds up all it really needs is a manager who can manage
Location to motorway Good range of food available Outside seating area
Bit noisy being close to a main road
