Staff were friendly and helpful very polite
Noisy neighbours, TV on loud until early hours
Nice breakfast with good options for children and adults. Good pool to relax in and sauna / hotub for weary bones! Thanks
I liked it all! No problems here! Thanks
Our standard room in the stables block was nicely decorated, very warm and cosy, with a well stocked tea tray. The pool, sauna and steam room, is fantastic complementary facility. We particularly enjoyed the floatation aids and balls provided in the pool for a bit of fun. Cosy bar, with leather sofas and a fire, great for a night cap. Breakfast was self-service, with a good range of food on offer. Great location on the edge of the village, with a range of shops, bars and bistros in walking distance. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel, and would return.
We found the pool temperature a little cool for the time of year, but soon heated up in the sauna. Breakfast was chaotic as the hotel was so busy and we did have to fend for ourselves a bit –finding a spare chair and crockery etc, but this was not a problem. The wifi signal here is poor, but then it is nice to get away from the internet sometimes.
Within an easy walk to restaurants and shops. Good centre for sightseeing all of North Wales
I paid for a standard double room, I got a Butlins chalet for a disabled person. The TV did not work they need sky as none of the channels worked. I am 6ft 3 and had requested a double bed I got two mintue single beds. The shower being for a diabled person was low - the sink even lower - In General very poor. The chalet location was about as far as the hotel as you can get .. I felt cheated I wont stay again and I stay a lot in that area on business..
Comfy modern and clean. Friendly staff.
Tried to book treatments at the Spa, was told nothing available, but the girl was standing around doing nothing for the last hour, very disappointed as the spa was the reason I booked there.
Req new light in shaver unit. Decor a bit tired.
lovely hotel in a quite village close to local shops and train station very handy if using public transport.
The location and the facilities
The location, food and staff are excellent.
The bed. The mattress in room 36 has a big lump running its full length. It's like sleeping on the side of a mountain. They did change the cover which did improve things slightly.
Great location and good value for money
Great location. Beautiful sceneries. Short walk into town. Free parking. Nice pool. Okay breakfast.
Wifi was touch and go. Needed it to do more research on exploring nearby areas. Booking.com description of family suite was inaccurate. Very small rooms for a family. Beds extremely uncomfortable. Only 2 sets of towels for a family. Breakfast was very basic.
Almost every thing, including the position of the hotel relative to the surrounding area, the comfort of the accommodation and the facilities including the gym and pool were very good . The breakfast was particularly good using local suppliers.
We chose to eat in the restaurant on the first night and found there were some things on the menu not available and on the second night it was the same story. What we did eat was very good though.
Comfortable and lots of space (we were given an 'triple dx' room). Very good food for breakfast and evening meals.
The bathroom smelt a little damp and bath seemed to have dropped in position which we reported at reception. Décor a little tired.
Very friendly staff. Lovely food in the restaurant
Friendly efficient staff. Good bedroom. Nice restaurant with good food and good value.
Proximity of rail line, although this wasn't as much of a problem as first thought. Bathroom was rather tired.
The general comfort and cleanliness of the Best Western was very welcome after a big day walking. The facilities from the pool to the restaurant and bar areas are all perfectly looked after. Instant heat from the radiators was impressive
TV in room didn't work.
Location Friendly staff
70's decor Tired looking room / bathroom
Lovely hotel in a great location. Quiet room
Bed was hard and very uncomfortable
The room had everything we needed. Excellent bath/shower. Everything we needed. Pool / Gym facilities were excellent. Very good food in the restaurant. Excellent choice of wine and alcohol. Great location for visiting the Snowdonia National Park.
The location, very helpful staff.
The price, aged accommodation!
One restraint Staff , Stephanie I think her name was, was excellent. The others need re training or telling them they are not suitable.
swimming pool access for visitors,Food very good, Bedroom very comfortable, Public areas including dining room, well laid out
May be the price was a little too high for a hotel out of season
