Hotel room was a separate chalet with parking outside. Breakfast service was ok but staff did not keep up with replenishing food, glasses and juices.

Peace and quiet of rooms Disappointed in food. 2 items were off the menu and we weren't told until trying to order I sent the soup back as it tasted vinegary and ascidic. Steak was also overcooked

The location was pretty good. Firstly the pillows in the bed smelt of others sweat. We had to cover them with towels in order to rest our heads on them. Secondly the restaurant:- their menu had several types of coffee for sale. I ordered a cafetiare for one and it was just a spoonful of nescafe instant coffee in a cafetiare container. When I asked the waiter about it he admitted it was instant coffee and just laughed.!!! I think this breaks the trade description act. The meal we had there was the most expensive we had on our trip, but certainly far and away not the best by a long shot.!!!!

We booked a twin with a childs bed thinking a small bed would be squashed next to the other beds. There was in fact a separate sofa bed in its own bedroom ( double ) and the whole space was very generous as it had a large hallway with cupboard, the bedroom with the sofa bed and the main bedroom with en-suite. The kids loved the pool and the hotel was walking distance to the village. Oh and you must order the chunky chips from the bar, divine !! ..............

I thought all things associated with the meals were good, including service and quality. The spa was a great disappointment; only one working shower in the whole place, and the changing accommodation hardly adequate.

The hotel was in a beautiful location and was clean. When I booked my room I was not informed of the private function that was taking place that weekend so could not use the bar or bistro. The room I was placed in was great until the family above were in! The noise was horrible myself and my partner got little sleep due to the above noise!!! And when I spoke to the lady on checking out about this her comment was "ah room 48! hmmm its not been the first time"... Unfortunatly this ruined my weekend which I had been licking forward to greatly.

Lovley large room and huge bed. Would be a good place to stay in warm weather as each of the outside rooms had their own patio and furniture.

After a long day of walking and climbing it was great to come back to the comfort of this lovely hotel and relax in the facilities I.E. swimming and spa. We intended on going out on the evening to view the area and to have something to eat, however as the atmosphere was so nice we decided to stay and eat at the hotel which was a good choice in the end as the food was lovely and the staff were very friendly. After being stuck in traffic for nearly an hour due to road works outside the hotel, all we wanted to do was to check in, get to our room and then go and relax in the pool and spa, however after doing this we were told that the room that we had already moved into had no heating therefore we were being moved to another room, when we gathered our belongings and moved to another room there was no lighting in there and it had two single beds instead of the double that I had booked, therefore we again got moved to another room (third time lucky) the room was lovely, the staff were really apologetic and pleasant therefore my wife and I didnt raise a fuss, plus were too tired to complain as we didnt want it to spoil our much needed weekend away.

Quiet, informal ambience. Staff were very helpful after I broke my arm during my holiday (not at hotel!). Good parking. Convenient meal times. Possibly more veggie options on otherwise comprehensive menu.
