Loved the motel style accommodation and SWIMMING POOL
Slightly difficult to carry luggage up stairs.
PARKING OUTSIDE ROOMS,GOOD FOOD,HELPFULL STAFF.
WALKING IN THE RAIN TO THE MAIN HOTEL FROM THE ROOMS FOR MEALS .AND THE BAR.
We had a swarm of wasps come into the room in the middle of the night and spent most of the night fending them off
The gym was excellent for a hotel
The railway past by out the back
Friendly staff, clean hotel and beautiful area. The food in the restaurant was amazing!
Excellent location and fantastic value for money. Very good breakfast included in price and admission to spa. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful and are a credit to the hotel! :)
Accessible to all amenities. Restaurant great, breakfast superb.
The springs in the mattress in room 38 are almost through. Bed very lumpy. Need a few good nights rest to recover.
T he staff , pool .
My booking was messed up And we were offered the room for the disabled which as we fortunately are not disabled was a bit difficult to find comfortable.
"Delux" room was large, pleasant and quiet
"Conventional" Room was small, too hot, and opening the window (only means of cooling) led to a lot of noise from the nearby road.
liked the location, nice clean room and comfortable bed, nicely decorated, very nice restaurant but a little expensive and could not book at a convenient time.
Fan in bathroom was very noisy, we were not able to use the pool because of the hours
The hotel is in the most beautiful location, Betws Y Coed. In the bottom of the valley, surrounded by mountains and trees, the river and fresh air. Good breakfast. A swimming pool and gym facilities though we had no time to use them. Plenty of car parking room.
Bed a little to soft for my liking
Good for kids and dogs
No bins near the lodge rooms for dog waste
The food, gym and pool were good
The bed was uncomfortable and the service by the housekeeping staff was really poor
hotel rooms dark
Selection for breakfast. This was the only thing I missed from a 4star hotel
Restaurant very average
The staff serving breakfast were quite rude and snotty
Staff very friendly in all areas of the hotel - always ready to help with a smile. Main reason for choosing was the pool and location which didn't disappoint. Had to leave early due to illness and reception very understanding. Haven't been to Best Western since given a box room in a 4 star in Bruges. Will have to reconsider. An excellent 3 star hotel.
Katie, a staff member helped us after a problem with a room and upgraded us free of charge. Staff were helpful and friendly
It's a bit Welsh, a little rustic.
Hotel looked like it had been recently refurbished.Room was very spacious, clean and tidy. Ate in restaurant and food was fresh cooked, not pre-packed reheated as many establishments now seem to favour. Staff friendly and helpful.
Food,dinning room,reception and the bar
Bedroom window sill needed painting curtain hanging of the rail fan in bathroom sounded like a ships engine room step into bathroom is an accident waiting to happen noise from the kitchen was unacceptable ,not a relaxing bedroom which made it overpriced.
Great short break. Only problem Room 17 at back of hotel above the kitchens so could be noisy and have food smells wafting into the room. We had to leave windows open as no airconditioning in the rooms which was unbearable, a fan was given upon request which helped.
Room was spacious and very clean and comfortable. We had lovely fluffy towels in the bathroom. The food was delicious in the restaurant and very reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We wanted to watch a World Cup Match and the TV in the bar area didn't work!!
