this hotel is very close to the junction with M42 and M6, very convenient for travelling for motoways. the staff is very lovely and friendly. breakfast is good. room is fairly clean, and facilities are good. the house is very close to the road, while double glaze works for sounds, it couldn't protect the vibrations. the room we stay is facing to the road, so taht we couldn't have deep sleep for the whole night.

It was near to the wedding I was going to. I was able to change the checking in time to one that suited me. Room wasn't very clean, cobwebs on lights! Difficult to turn cold water tap off, and toilet cistern made lots of noise as it was filling up. Shower gel and shampoo was out of date by nearly a year!

The owners were welcoming and the ambience also warm and welcoming. The location was very good being both near our conference venue (the Belfry at Litchfield) and also the nec. The road outside was very busy early in the morning. The double glazing worked, but we like open windows at night.

Excellent value for money offering everything that Travelodge would offer with additional extras (bottled water in room, fan in room, hearty breakfast) Somewhat dated decor, noisy road if window open

It was a basic but comfortable room, very warm and friendly, the propritor was a really nice friendly person, and spent quality time with her guests, she was the friendliest person I have spoken to, in the capacity of her job. The en-suite could do with a face lift

Everything was to my complete satisfaction. Most comfortable bed I have slept in for a long time with a duvet to die for. Nice to have a freshly cooked breakfast instead of one that has been under a hot lamp for half an hour. Would certainly stay there again.

Comfortable and good breakfasts The main road needs reparing outside the hotel, the passing petrol tankers hit the bumps and the front of the hotel shakes.

Very easy to find and close proximity to motorway. Stayed in a single room that was poorly decorated with a shower that did not work and clearly had not worked for a while. Could not access the internet or find a member of staff for help.

Breakfast and service very good We had asked for disabled access, but was first given an upstairs double room. When asked again for something downstairs, was put in what was effectively a single room. Shower tray dirty, found several cobwebs and walls marked, some painting required.
