The location is perfect hotel quiet views are amazing at bkfast extra large bed is great decor is lovely
Mattress not comfortable pillows too soft (personal preference) rooms overpriced paying for location staff not over friendly pipe rooms too enclosed no windows
Location, clean, spa facilities, we had free upgrade as we had been there before and it was my birthday, friendly staff meals were top class
Drinks were very expensive, even dearer than the Hilton
Great hotel well maintained and beautiful location. Room had great views clean and good bathroom. Breakfast had plenty of choice and cooked to order.
not well trained staff and unfriendly. average food at the restaurant for an hotel of this category.
Breakfast service poor first day-waited 10 minutes to give my order. Room shower useless-no power
Location was excellent with fabulous views over the bay. Friendly and helpful staff made for a very comfortable stay with excellent food from the restaurant or bistro.
Location is fantastic and lovely when so quiet
Location & surroundings. Quiet, comfortable
RUSHED IN RESTAURANT,DRAFTY WINDOW IN BEDROOM
Facilities were first class and the staff friendly, welcoming and professional.
Excellent room,very comfortable.
Overcooked inedible Breakfast, served by rude and surly staff on both days
As soon as you walk in you know that someone has focused on the detail of this place. The decorations were first class, bedroom was tasteful decorated and comfortable as were the lounges and dinning rooms. Dinner and breakfast were very good and overall, this is a great little hotel that needs a return visit soon.
Nothing. It was all excellent.
The Four poster room is beautiful with a lovely bathroom.
We've stayed at this hotel before and really loved it, but it seems to be undergoing an economy drive, the hotel was cold (people were having to leave their dinning tables to get more jumpers from their rooms) we were constantly cold in our room and the pool was colder than it should of been. The breakfast was still very good but portion size was reduced from previous stay.
Scenic views friendly staff
Bar man needs to know how to make an Irish coffee. Also toast comes too early at the breakfast table so cold when the cooked breakfast arrives.
This hotel is an excellent venue for what it does best which is provide quality accommodation at a traditional English beach resort.
Location is superb, rooms spacious and bed very comfortable.En suite in our room was excellent. Plenty of parking for guests. Breakfast menu good
The location and views, also excellent hotel staff and facilities
This hotel is beautifully situated. The dining room looks right out to Lundy Island with a wide vista of the sea. The food was good and our room comfy.
Perhaps the Bistro menu could be a bit more interesting.
Our stay was cut short due to a family bereavement. The staff and management could not have been more understanding .
The pleasent staff the views from the hotel how clean and tidy the hotel was and the area
Location, location, location. Room with a wonderful sea view, lovely bed and comfortable chairs to look out to sea. Restaurant had a set menu but there was an option of the Bistro with a varied menu. Both very good. Pool fairly small but very clean. Spa area lovely.
On checking out I was told of the 3% surcharge on credit card payments. This was not on Booking.com, nor in the Hotel information in the room nor displayed at Reception.
Ambiamce, spacouosness, helpulness and attentiveness of staff and breakfast
Nothing really but ultra attentiveness of waiter at dinner would be picky as we had a slow eater
