“Excellent staff, location and good facilities. The reception lady was brilliant and she really cared that we had a good night out. The view was first rate, the sea was mesmerising and we stayed up late just listening to the wind and surf. The bathroom (room 11) was shear indulgance, big enough for three even!! We would definately go back.”

This relaxing hotel has stunning views over Woolacombe Bay and private steps down to the sandy beach. It has 2 swimming pools and a restaurant with sea views. All bedrooms at Watersmeet Hotel have a sea view, and some have a balcony. The Watersmeet has a hot tub and a steam room, plus an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool looking out to the sea. Really enjoyable stay beautiful views very comfortable room and very friendly helpful staff.Only had breakfast but this was very good and plenty of choice on offer. Would stay again and would recommend to family and friends. The indoor pool was cold and could do with being larger.

The hotel is in a beautiful location with excellent walks from the door. Our room was bright and sunny and looked down over a small cove with waves crashing onto the rocks. The food was superb and beautifully presented and the wine was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The staff we very pleasant, we has breakfast and dinner, and it was some of the best hotel food we have ever had. i was slightly dissapointed, that we has a delux double room and there was no mirror over the dressing table , which made it difficult to dry and straigten my hair. also room service menu was very limited. and one of my biggest pet hates is two single beds pushed together and the sheets not fitting correctly.

It was good to return to the Watersmeet after a break. The same standards have been maintained.First stayed there in 1972 and we will be back. We thought that some of the wine was overpriced.

I liked the welcoming atmosphere and feeling of independence as we could come and go as we pleased. I stayed at this hotel for my 21st birthday with my boyfriend.We both agreed the location was beautfiul and felt welcomed by the receptionist. We felt at home as we could come and go as we pleased yet be welcomed on return each time. I think we were the youngest couple at the hotel during our stay but would highly recomend it to others of a similar age. The sun set and room view was beautiful and i can honestly not fault anything with the service. Many thanks.
