We went to Watford purely for a family visit as this is where we used to live. It was great to go back and revisit some of our old favourite places and acted as a good base for us to travel out to other surrounding locations. I would however not recommend for a holiday destination as the main town centre has very few shops etc or much to see.
Great location for train line into London etc.

Watford is a great location from which you can access London. There are lots of different restaurants, shops and activities easily accessed in the centre of town. We found Watford was a great base to stay as it provided superb access to the Warner Bros Studios and the Harry Potter tour.

I visited Watford for work.
I visited Watford for work. The apartment was centrally located and it was easy to walk everywhere. Good mix of coffee, food and bar options within a couple of minutes walk, some chains and some independent. Easy parking.
Excellent hotel, perfect as a base for visiting the Harry Potter Warner Brothers Studio. Breakfast was lovely, the room was very comfortable and spacious for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children). The hotel is a 3 minute walk to Watford Junction station, which is where the free shuttle bus leaves for the Harry Potter Studios. Also a 10 minute walk from the hotel to the high street with lots of places to eat. We also ate in O'Neill's Irish pub next to Watford Station and it was really cheap with tasty food.
Livin' Serviced Apartments is just a few minutes walk from the Watford Junction Station and if you are going to Harry Potter Studio you arrive at the station just where the bus waits to bring you there.
The apartment is very spacious and equipped with all you need for a long stay or if you want to save on cost and cook yourself.
Sainsbury big supermarket is 10 minutes walk away opposite side to the station.
It's in the same building as the Holiday inn so you can always ask staff there for help.
Peter is an amazing owner, tells you what you need to know to move with the public service. it’s not a 5 stars hotel, but it’s comfy , warm and tidy. very good breakfast, you have to manage by yourself, but there are lots of choices. close enough to the underground either you can catch a Uber to watford junction for 6$ or by walk within 20 min. The room was big enough , with all the necessary in. very good stay.
the pictures don’t do the apartment justice! the space the facilities and the location ( near Watford junction ) and near the atria shopping centre with lots of places to dine and 2 too shisha lounges.
we went on a warm weekend , fan in every room and the lounge and good ventilation in each room ( window close to your bed with little outside noise)
Amazon fire stick available for Netflix , prime etc
Loved the stay, the apartment lookes like it was freshly renovated, it's super comfortable, spacious and nicely decorated. It's just a couple of minutes walk from the Watford Junction station, close to supermarkets. Perfect stay to relax after the whole day at Warner Bros;) Easy self check in and good contact with the host, 2 local pubs just around the corner. 100% recomendable!
The property is near Watford town so I was able to do what I wanted to do in town without using my car. The staff to the property are very friendly and welcoming. They make you feel that you are in the right place. The whole house is warm, rooms are very big and the carpet floor is very nice.
Lovely Clean Room, Hairdryer, Iron in the room also. Very relaxed atmosphere and plenty of space. Tv and complimentary snacks (Biscuit, water, nuts) on arrival. Very close to Watford Town centre with bars, restaurants, shops. Also close to Watford Junction station which takes you into London.
great location, just few minutes walk to Watford junction station, where can get free shuttle to WB studios. food and drink deals were great for a trip with family to keep cost low. Bed was comfortable, room had all essentials needed. free parking was a bonus. all staff were very friendly.
The hosts were very helpful. Great location 10 mins from Watford junction and 5 mins from shops and restaurants. Clean and warm. Lovely quiet location. Hosts made a real effort with the decor and finishing touches. Property has great potential.
Very nice appartment, excellent location, few minutes walking from watford Junction, the mall, Tesco. Host is very caring always available...
We stayed with two kids, and it was perfect. Perfect neighborhood very nice and quiet.
Location was brilliant for going to Harry Potter. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel. We had 2 rooms that were next to each other and we could close off the outer door to the corridor. So great when listening out for sleeping baby.
Great apartment for a brief stay in Watford. Our host was very accommodating and met us on arrival to let us check in a bit earlier than expected. Apartment was clean and quiet and walking distance to market, restaurants, etc.
Really nice place with all things Harry Potter. Very clean and comfortable. The children loved it.
Within easy reach of London just a few minutes from Watford Junction train station.
Would definitely book again

Convenient located close to Watford Junction station, spacious for a studio flat in London and good value considering London prices. Kitchen reasonably well equipped, oven, stove, fridge freezer.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, . Location is good 12 minutes walking from Watford junction to the hotel and you can walk to the city too where all the shops are near by.
This hotel is right in the town centre and it’s very convenient for me, it’s clean and the staff are lovely I stay here fairly regularly and it is consistently good!
