Staff friendly. Bed Comfortable Room very cramped with no where to put luggage. Would be ok if only a back back with us. This is a very old terrace house turned B&B. Lots of narrow stairs. I think a revamp in all areas would be in order.

Carl was very friendly and helpful, there was nothing that he wouldn't do for us. The price was very reasonable and the breakfast in the morning was fantastic. The only let down was the bed that my wife and I slept in. You could feel every spring in the Mattress.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I was able to check in immediately and drop my bags there because they had left keys for me even though staff wasn't there, breakfast was great. Overall very great experience. I would stay there again.

We really enjoyed our short stay in this guest house. The staff is lovely: the owner of the place waited for our very late arrival and left us tea/coffee and biscuits in the room and gave us precise instructions to visit the beautiful beaches around Holyhead. The breakfast is good! The strenght of the WiFi and the sliding door in the room's toilet.

Location and their good attitude to late arrivals off the ferry. That was key, they are always accommodating on late arrival. Staff are nice and friendly. We have stayed there before and I'm sure will do so again. Very convenient.

It is acceptable bed and breakfast hotel. I think it wasn't advertised as shared bathroom room and my bathroom was shared. I wasn't too much impressed about that. You can hear all what neighbours are doing and hear every sound.

I selected Wavecrest on short notice because it had a single room at a very good rate and because it accepted pets. I needed to take the ferry at 13:50 on the following day for the crossing when pets are accepted. The hotel is located in a street crammed with other B&Bs. As the taxi approached along this street, I was happy to find that the Wavecrest was among the especially sweet-looking ones. Nice brick-red building with white trim and with flowers in the yard and hanging by the door. My first impression of the inside of the house was of the collection of handsome and interesting memorabilia. Prints of travel-related and local scenes cover the walls of the foyer and stairway, along with what looked original full-size signs related, if I remember right, to the ferry and the train line. When I was shown into my room, I found it simple, clean, and welcoming, with a little box of biscuits and an electric kettle for hot tea, most welcome. Host was not that much in evidence, but made it clear he was available for any questions if I knocked on his door. Huge hot breakfast in the cozy breakfast room was excellent. Holyhead is a pleasant little town, not tourist-oriented but with a good local feeling and most basics a traveler would need.
