Helpful staff, very nice room, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast.
decent location, clean, staff pleasent room had everything you would expect.
the bed was awful it was supposed to be double but never in a milloin years was it,i dont understand the phrase "divan" but that is what my wife said it was.try and get two people small as well to sleep in it.worst nights sleep ever.
Friendly staff Good location Smart lounge areas Good bar prices Nice bathroom Well furbished Free wifi
Room was small - I banged my foot on the radiator as I got into bed No drawer space Room got too hot even with radiator turned off - we had to keep window open
Location is good.
Tiny room with dirty walls. Not a 4 star hotel.
breakfast (it was a bit poor, but value for money)
Convenient location. Good all round facilities and clean and comfortable room.
TV did not work properly. Tosel rail did not heat in bathroom and extractor fan was not working.
Rooms very noisy
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and exceeded expectations. As did the hotel in general. Free WiFi
Quick service. Close to TCR and Russell Square tube stations. Plenty of local amenities.
Bathroom was a bit small. Toilet was too close to the radiator. Soundproofing was not very good. Could hear sounds from the corridor easily.
The hotel was ideally placed for what I had to do. Nice and central. I could get around easily. The staff were always helpful and friendly. I felt very comfortable and safe staying there on my own. I had friends staying at another hotel in the area and it was clear that at the Mercure London Bloomsbury you get your value for money.
Great location, bed very comfortable, room very tidy. Night bar man was excellent.
Went to make cup of coffee in room and found the cream out of date and curdled. Staff did replace straight away. No bath in room just shower,no shower cap so we bought one.
The Mercure is in a prime location for exploring London.
The beds are very small, both narrow and short, and for the price should have natural fibre toppers and duvets, ie feather. Instead they are synthetic which I find difficult to sleep in.
friendly welcome, efficient service and very clean.
Main rooms good Location goid
Room smelled if drains a bit Staff apologetic and contacted maintenance
Complimentary small bottled waters &shortbread biscuits supplied. Good sized bathroom with great shower- looks like it had been recently refurbished. Comfortable decor, very relaxing.
Nothing really. Only that I imagine the road facing front rooms could be noisy. The road is called Southampton Row & traffic is busy night & day. We had a side room, which was fine.
Bed was poor and breakfast was not hot depite the heatlamps.
Mini room !!!!
The clean, quiet room, the pleasant and accommodating staff and the Nespresso machine in our room
Small but comfy room.
Pricy for a single bed. Small room but fine for sleeping.
good location friendly staff clean room
Breakfasts very good .Evening meal excellent though not the best selection of drinks available?
The room I selected was small double and the mattress was too small for us ,though we're small .We had a twin last visit and this was perfect .Moral : don't economise
The room was smaller than a bread box.
