Food, staff and value
Room very small for £134 room only, small TV also.
No hot water in room on occasion Staff English poor
Good location. Nice staff.
The fact that we couldn't get a sandwich on arrival at 5.30pm.
I have stayed here several times; on my own and also with my wife. Overall I would give it 7/10. The location and cleanliness and great, rooms are always clean and bathrooms and very clean indeed. Value for money is good, and room service is normally quite good, with decent food and a reasonable timeframe in which the food is delivered to the room. I'm back there again next week.
On this occasion, I arrived just after check in time at 14.00. One receptionist was to busy on the pc to even acknowledge a Hello. The other receptionist told me my room wasn't ready and that they had been let down by a delivery? I was told I could wait or go somewhere and they would ring me when the room was ready. I was very tired and just wanted to have a sit down and a shower. I left my luggage, and went for a walk. I came back at 15.15 to find new receptionists and had to explain all over again. I must add that no-one bothered to ring me at anytime. I had to wait another 5 minutes to find if the room was ready and it was...an hour or so later than check in. I then asked for an iron and ironing board and my luggage. After 10 minutes or so my ironing board arrived, but no luggage. I then had to ask for my luggage, the same employee then came back with my luggage. Lastly, the temperature of the showers in room 204 could do with being a bit hotter instead of a luke warm shower; it hasn't been like that before when I've stayed in that room. I must add that reception did ring me to apologise for my room not being ready and offer me a free breakfast which was kind of them. I'm back there again next week, and two weeks after that. Hopefully these minor things will be rectified, as it mars an otherwise good hotel.
Staff and convenient location
Room a little small
Air conditioning didn't work but to be fair never said anything about it
Very pleasant staff
Bit noisy at night with police activity outside
Handy for buses to Wimbledon & Wimbledon village.
Our room at the front was very noisy, near the main road. Room quite small.
That I had to go back home afterwards
Near to where we live
Breakfast was a disaster Not enough food at one time Not enough tables
The car park was good plenty of spaces
The dated pokey bedroom
Good nice and tidy room and pleasant staff and decent facilities.
A little noisy as if the door was open!! Price of £160 p/n for the time of year a equivalent to Central London prices....
Staff v friendly and helpful Handy for me as was visiting my son in Wimbledon.
Walls v thin I could hear snoring from the room next door! Breakfast was disappointing - and over priced -we went at the end of the session and not much left.
Staff were very helpfull
Noisy street at weekends
Excellent food Friendly staff Clean room
Bed too hard for me. Would have liked help with my suitcase, had to lug it up and down some stairs despite having a lift to my floor. Could not get shower turned on, too stiff.
Breakfast, distance to tube.
Roof garden taken up by smokers.
Breakfast was great
Small room in an odd location 102
Breakfast, no museli or bananas and male waiter leaned across diners to collects dishes instead of politely removing them from behind the diners
We chose this hotel because it had parking, which was plentiful and on site. The reception staff on 4.10.14 who greeted us were very friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel was v clean and functional. The breakfast was plentiful & of a good standard with lots of choice. A good stay and I would definitely return.
Whilst there were quite a few lights in the room, I found the room a little dark especially for makeup/hair etc.but apart from that, it was a great hotel and stay.
Free car parking. No charge for ice bucket and ice in room.
Very, very noisy room at the front. Poor choice of breakfast cereals. Bed not very big. 4ft6in not big enough. No twin room available. Staff disinterested. Room too small for two people.
Receptionist was exemplary and explained everything very well. All staff were very helpful. Good value buffet breakfast - £8.75 ea Room very comfortable and clean Good wifi signal from room
The location, close to transport, restuarants and shopping. Staff were efficient and friendly, in particular Kate. The superior double room was comfortable and spacious for a family of four.
The breakfast was standard. The hotel lacked atmosphere, particularly the breakfast room where the decor was uninteresting and dull. The bedroom had a subtle smell of smoke which we did not like having requested a non smoking room.
Clean and staff friendliness
Very pricey compared to chain hotels that have much better rooms/facilities but I expect closeness to London is in consideration.
