Owners very friendly and helpful. The hostel is so clean. Everything has been thought of; even to the provision of shower gel. Nice touch to have milk, teabags etc for use of hostelers. Was a lovely surprise to have an ensuite room. Can't recommend it highly enough.
Probably the nicest hostel I have ever stayed in. Comfortable, firendly with really helpful staff.
Very clean and tidy with helpful staff
We were booked into a 4 berth dorm but got it to ourselves as it was slightly out of season. Great location.Short walk into town centre with plenty of bars and eateries.Supermarket very close too.Dorm and shower room were spotless and very comfortable.
Everything was good . everything !!! I've been backpacking round Asia and USA and down under for 20 + years . this was in the top 3 places I've stayed . thank you
Very clean, our first experience with a hostel and it was very nice. Highly recommend for a quick stay in Penrith.
Immaculate, helpful staff, great kitchen, comfy beds, bike storage and free wifi
i do not need to share the bedroom with others as they dont have enough booking. the toilet is clean and ensuited. the kitchen is prefect and i like cooking there.
False fire alarm happened at night but no staff was in the hostel.
Everything about the stay atWayfairers was excellent. Before getting there we were concerned about how ae were going to the accomodation as it was one of the cheapest on our trip, but it turned out to be the best accomodation of our trip
There was nothing that we didn't like
Everything a hostle should be. Excellent facilities. Great for motorcyclists, parking available outside the door or free on the street until 9am.
Walking distance from town center
Having the bathroom attached to the room meant you couldn't use it without waking others up - this was a problem as I wanted an early start
Close to the train and bus station. Very comfortable and clean, was very impressed. Lots of places to eat nearby.
Friendly staff Cleanliness High standard of finish Good bike store facilities Good showers
Spotlessly clean, everything seemed brand new, lovely décor, well equipped kitchen, powerful shower, friendly, helpful staff, convenient location. Very comfy, peaceful night's sleep en route to Scotland
nothing, can't fault it
Excellent facilities for bikers. Good well equipped kitchen Great value for money
there is nothing to report untoward
Central Clean Good storage for bikes Fully equipped for bike repairs
This place was so well maintained and run, it surpasses any hostel I have been to before.
There isn´t anything bad to say about this hostel
Cant recommend highly enough. Really clean and well looked after. Friendly staff and excellent accommodation.
great place for stopover catching my train the next day morning, absolutely clean !
Just superb, more of a boutique hotel then a hostel
That other hostels cannot meet this standard
One of the best hostels I've stayed at. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and loved the fact that you offer free refreshments and wi-fi. About a 10 minute walk from the train station
Would have been nice to have facilities like a separate reading room and/or lounge area
I liked the value for money, the very modern styling, the fact that it had all been refurbished recently and that everything was new and clean. The fellow guests were of a mixed age range and we all got on quite well, which is never very easy when meeting strangers for the first time. I liked the area/location as it was on my route to Glasgow. The area of Penrith is ideal for walkers and motoring tourists alike.
