The family-run Wellington Cromer is just 100 metres from Cromer’s beachfront and town centre. A flat-screen TV and a DVD player are included in each contemporary room.

Ambience, food, staff, location
The food was excellent, along with a roaring fire in the bar lounge while we were eating. The venue was comfortable and warm in mid January. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating.
Such a lovely position on the Broads but communal area decor and furniture is more suited for a London mans club; cold, impersonal and clinical. A cheery log fire saved the day. interior designers updated the building to be ultra modern, but it meant the hotel is missing a heart and a personality. Such a shame. Hope it finds a new and loving parent. I would go again for convenience and value but not for too long a period however.
The breakfast was very good
I did'nt like the decor of the bar sitting areas. the breakfast room looked and felt like a morgue horrible white brick tiles all over wall a big put off. The Dinning room is very good. ugly furniture in lounge areas very clinical not warm and cosey.
The rooms are tastefully decorated to a modern standard, lovely views over the lake from front upstairs and downstairs rooms.
Wi-fi signal is very poor which will affect visitors in business, only works at the very far right end of the hotel in the downstairs seating area.
Location by river side. Ample parking. Good food. Very roomy restaurant.
Hotel rooms and bathrooms in urgent need of updating. Hotel has recently changed hands, resulting in sitting room and lounge ultra modern metallic furnishings which simply do not go with the overall style and age of the building. Dazzling white tiling of all walls in the pub area, is completely out of place!!
The location was excellent for walking and access to Norwich from Wroxham station. The hotel is extremely comfortable; the bar and restaurant have recently been modernised.
The menu wasn't as good as it used to be though, in fairmess, our stay was between Xmas and New Year when supplies of fish etc would have been more limited.
Location is very beautiful and the hotel was very clean , the refurbishment is very good I liked a lot its very warm, cosy and very friendly. Very good value for money .
The wifi was very hit and miss
Room OK Food OK although the choices were limited.
Bed worn and squeaky Bath tap to shower valve not working Deer heads and stuffed fish in breakfast room. (a matter of taste, or lack of) Lack of staff, two staff to run bar, wait at tables, book guests into hotel and deal with enquires etc.
Shower requested bath, paint loose in shower room.
LOVED the amazing artworks and retro furniture in the lounge / bar area Loved the retro table football tables Room was spacious and clean Staff friendly and helpful
Bed was too soft, not good on the back
We were lucky enough to be visiting Donnington Park for a racing day, and the hotel is in as ideal a location as possible! We received a very warm welcome, were made to feel very comfortable and the breakfast was truly excellent. Recommended.
Good location and good sized rooms. Quite quiet inside hotel and staff pleasant.
The redesigned public areas are appalling, dark and dingy with too many stuffed animal heads and fish in breakfast room. Dining chairs apparently from 1960's transport café were uncomfortable. Interior designer either needs lot more experience or to carry out the job when sober! Would not find the dining areas suitable for "dining out" probably better to stick to the bar!
I was told wi fi available in rooms but after putting password in did not work You had to sit at the bar and use the wifi for the credit card machine
The quirky lounges, the masses of pictures, lovely breakfast and dining room. Excellent choices for breakfast
Not enough evening food options for non meat eaters
The situation and the views of the Norfolk broads, food was excellent. Staff really really helpful and friendly
Friendly staff and good food at reasonable prices
Pleasant hotel, clean and comfortable.
Free bar football tables
The fire alarm peeped 24hours per day every 7 seconds outside rooms 10 11 12 and requires repairing manager was aware of this by the time we left so hopefully it should be repaired by now
Good regarding ambience, lounge fire, staff, food specials, breakfast, appearance of hotel, room standard, parking, location.
The fact that wi fi was only available in just one or two areas of the hotel, with no 3g in area meant almost cut off and required to leave room to make or receive calls. No sky tv Quite noisy from people on 2nd floor Room door lock difficult to undoo and corridor light not on late made entry more tricky
Really warm welcome, both from the open fire and the staff. Room sorted, bags dropped, pint and dinner in hand within minutes of walking in. Alround nice.
Only downside being the wireless wasn't working ... had to ignore emails for a night (not entirely bad).
Travelled from south wales to pick up 2 spaniel puppies. Hotel just a few minutes from our destination provided us with a good nights sleep before the long journey home. Lovely sitting area with plenty of books to choose from and room was nicely decorated. Good choice of breakfast and a pleasant stay altogether.
Nothing to dislike. All good.
Breakfasts lovely and all restaurant portions good. Menu could do with a few more items if staying longer than a couple of nights choice could be limiting
clean, good location, nice powerful shower, will use again in future.
Found the bed to soft.
The hotel was excellent before the changes introduced by the new owner
The new décor, menu increased prices, uncomfortable dining chairs, worn-out mattresses.
The Restaurant The Location The Bar
The Bathroom too small. The Shower no water
