Location, breakfast. Dale and Martin go out of their way to make you feel welcome and relaxed.
Steep stairs to our bedroom.
Lovely hospitality from proprietors who are locals. We appreciated lots of nice little touches of generosity, and the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs for breakfast was exceptional.
Cake in the afternoon on arrival Courtesy bottle of wine Attentive service at breakfast farewell cup cake
Friendliness of Martin and Dale, some nice little personal touches which we appreciated. Very comfortable.
The location was perfect - just across from the Bronte parsonage. Our room was really lovely, fresh and spacious, and the friendly owners, Martin and Dale were the perfect hosts. They were very knowledgeable about the local area, cooked a great breakfast, and offered extra touches that made our stay really special.
Perfect location for a weekend break. Catered to all our needs.
The hangover ;0)
Close to very cheap car park. Great for access to Bronte Museum. Delightful treats provided by Dale Wilson.
location, food and friendly hosts
Accommodation was clean and good facilities, owners were very helpful. We would definitely visit this guesthouse again.
I stayed at Wilsons of Howarth this week with my teenage daughter. The hotel is really lovely and our room nicely decorated. Dale and Martin were very welcoming, definitely recommend it as a base for seeing all the Bronte sights.
Made to feel very welcome, attentive to all our needs. Delighted with the room.
great location, nice breakfast
Very steep stairs going up to second floor room (Wedgewood), low ceiling in places, just not as comfortable as expected given such radiant reviews - expect a little more for £90. wouldn't quite describe it as luxury I'm afraid.
Spacious, comfortable and homely bedrooms Nice touches such as a bottle of wine left in the room, bathrobes and a cupcake on departure Friendly owners who made us feel very welcome and offered recommendations in the area Great breakfast Perfectly located at the quieter end of the main street and right by the Bronte Parsonage
great welcome, excellent accommodation, clean and in a good position
Breakfast was good Owners were friendly and attentive
Lack of power points in room
Rooms were gorgeous - very comfy, decorated very nicely, and lovely little touches like the homemade cake on arrival. Breakfast was delicious and Dale and Martin were really friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Staff were friendly and lots of nice touches.
Shower was a bit weak but perfectly useable.
Lovely room, great attention to detail - wonderful toiletries, complimentary wine, bottled water, free wifi, amaaazing breakfast. Little extras like home made cake delivered to room, well stocked hospitality tray and a delicious cup cake when we checked out.. Perfect hosts. Personal but not obtrusive Parking at rear for £4 for 24 hours. Even the village clock chiming every half an hour was quirky and melodious!! Fab fab fabulous!!
Shower wasn't very powerful. But because everything else was wonderful this somehow didn't seem to matter!!
Welcoming hosts Spacious and well equipped room and bathroom Excellent breakfasts and packed lunches Well placed for exploration of Haworth and the steam railway Plenty of restaurants/Puns to eat in and craft shops to exploe
Extremely friendly and helpful couple running the establishment. Great English breakfast. Fabulous muffins!
Great location and friendly, helpful and knowledgeable hosts. Comfortable and a wonderful place to stay, with plenty of activities in the area. Lots of extra personal touches which made our stay particularly pleasant.
Large comfortable room with an attention to detail. The end suite bathroom was a good size with a double ended bath, soft towels and plenty of hot water. Everything was spotlessly clean. Both owners were friendly and helpful. Nothing too much trouble.
Nothing to dislike
The proprietor and his wife (Martin and Dale) were very friendly and helpful. Great location in the centre of Haworth, near to the Brontë Museum. Sumptuous facilities in the bedrooms.
Nothing really. A very minor thing was that my wife likes a cup of tea before she gets up in the morning. Although there was tea making facilities there was no milk so a few small cartons of long life milk would have been a help. Otherwise I had to go downstairs to the breakfast room to get a jug of fresh milk. As I said, a very small thing.
The attention to detail, fresh milk, choice of cooked breakfast, complementary bottle of wine, cupcake on leaving. Very friendly staff.
Weather. Rained both days I was there.
