Really quiet for sleeping. The street is almost without any traffic, especially during the night. Great value for money.
Very slow wi-fi during some parts of the day. The lift is very small and stairs narrow, but that's to be expected in historical buildings.
Stuff was cheerful and helpful
Our room was glassed in balcony with single glazed windows, even with heating turned to max it was pretty cold. Shower is very small and we had hot water only two days. Hotel lobby was more comfortable then our room, double bead was like 110cm barely enough for two persons. Breakfast consists only of serials with milk, and toast with marmalade, also bread teats funny. Internet is working BUT expect 10 sec lag for every click. Next time we will try some other place.
Because we had one of the renovated rooms, we had wooden flooring instead of an old carpet. Around the hotel, you can find great restaurants of all nationalities.
In our second night, water was coming down from the ceiling at 2 a.m. Until 7 a.m. nothing happened - the guy from the nightshift gave us 5 towels to put on the floor. We didn't get another room or a refund - they told us this happened already twice!!
Friendly and helpful staff
Poor choice for breakfast Bathroom is too small
staff very friendly
just don't serve breakfast, because that wasn't...
Proximity to Queensway and Bayswater tube stations Quiet location
No desk Small 2' bed No breakfast before 07:30 Unstable WiFi
Location is good. The room was clean.
Staff not that friendly, when I said why the lift has problem they said it is two star hotel. The luggage room should be close to reception not a room in basement which is difficult to reach. Breakfast area didn't have enough tables. The window in my room would not close properly. The idea of this hotel is you get what you paid.
Some of the members of staff were helpful and went out of their way to assist.
Was promised a double room but given a twin room instead. This is the second time that this has happened... Woke up the next morning and was told that I couldn't shower or use the toilet in my room... Apparently something wrong with drainage... Staff that came to my room was polite but when I checked out, the staff at reception didn't even utter a word of apology. Not happy with service.
Location and cleanliness are good.
Beds (singles despite booking a double) are small & uncomfortable. Breakfast not brill but adequate
location and the staff is perfect. clean rooms
the matresses of the rooms are so very old that the springs of the bed bites your back that makes it impossible to sleep. the so called breakfast is only butter and jam
nice place closed to central places, great for a we
double bed requested and validated on booking, twin bed received, not fair
Nice area, close to bus (94 to Picadilly) and tube stations (Queensway and Notting Hill Gate), a short walk from Kensington Gardens and Notting Hill; clean.
Creaky floors, very basic breakfast (no fruit) in cramped breakfast room, slow wifi, tiny room, safe in room not working (broken).
Location is great with easy access to high quality places! Nice enough breakfast arrangements. The staff is polite and helpful! Clean bathroom with daily changed towels. Meets passable requirements if you don't intend to stay in bedroom that long.
The rug carpets felt sticky in the hotel bedroom. The white sheets were clean, but I wonder about the conditions of the thicker blankets (though it works). The room didn't have a remote control, so we never turned on the TV. Elevator was tiny.
location, closeness to the centre of London and Hyde Park
beds very poor, breakfast very limited, toilet/bath in a closet...
Very clean Considering the price Thought it would be awful
Felt like 5 he kind of hotel you would stay in when you were younger on a school trip.
The room was clean. And the bathroom in good condition.
The beds were not comfortable at all,i could not fall asleep.
Good location, 5-7 min from bayswater metro station
Double room with "king-size" bed was mostly 1,5 size bed and not very clean, the room is about 6m2. Breakfast is hardly can be called like this because it's orange juice, instant coffee or tea, toasts, butter, jam and cornflakes. Too high price for rooms quality (old furniture).
Location & price
The beds were the poorest I have ever had at a hotel - you could feel the springs through the mattress. Did not sleep much as a result. Also a lot of noise from above & outside as late as 3am did not help
I found out in the morning that the door of room 206 can not be looked and if you pushed from outside it would open. This really worried me. The breakfast is also very poor
Position of hotel. Very clean. Good price.
Breakfast was poor and everyday the same.
Lift, wifi in room, space of room,
Breakfast quality fair
The Location close to Hyde Park and Notting Hill
Very small rooms. No warm water. Breakfast was really bad, just toast and instant coffe. The "breakfast room" was in the baisment. It was too small and very stuffy. We couldn´t eat there. We felt dirty wenn we left the hotel. We also check out one night earlier als planned. We needed to take a clean and warm shower!
