Very friendly staff
Location is good, very close to Underground, Hyde park, with the Underground you're in the center of London in 10 min. The staff was really nice to me Includes breakfast, more concretely: toasts with butter and jam, cereal and milk, coffe, tea They made a mistake and gave me a twin bed, but I had paid for a single bed. More space!
Wi-Fi didn't work most of the time, and when it worked (a couple of times in 3 days...) it was really slow. Also the bed is really small and uncomfortable
Very slow wifi most of the time not working at al. Room walls are very thin so you can hear everything happening next to you. Our room was next to the stairs so everyrime someone was going up or down it made a hell of noise. Because of the noise we only slept from 3 to 6 am. One of the worst hotel experience I had in all EUROPE
You got more than you paid for.
The wi-fi was not working that well on the second floor and the mattress was a bit too soft.
Proximity to tube station.
Size of room.
The location, cost and cleanliness of the hotel.
The bread and coffee served at breakfast.
The location of this hotel was good, close to tube station and shops.
The room was uncomfortably hot, couldn't turn the radiator down. It was also a bit on the small side. Not much choice at breakfast either
Good location. Clean.
Only jam for breakfast, no cheese, ham, egg, etc. Tiny bed.
Friendly staff Location Location Location
Wi-fi Bed comfort (beds really need to be replaced urgently)
breakfast was not good no proper wifi facilities
double bed too small, could not get to internet from any of the hotel's listed wifi. noisy drinkers at midnight
Location: Quite and near the tube station.
- Not clean - Rooms are way too small - Breakfast is not breakfast at all BUT "Snack fast --- toast and tea" - The worst "Lift" ever...it feels and sounds like you are in a crashing train.
friendly staff, good location
worst wifi ever, breakfast is just cereals, tea and bad coffee, nothing else
Location is good just 5 min to underground
Beds are too small Wifi network don't work properly all the time Breakfast is poor in varieties
The room was clean and they provided lots of coffee and sugar for the customers. The room quite spacious.
We need to ask for tv remote control at the front desk. Can't lock the bathroom door. The lady at front desk not that friendly.
The carpet in bad conditions. The lift it was'nt working well. It's kind an old house so need a floor repair urgent
were very friendly to my young daughter
did not expect my room is in basement
The male staff was very friendly, not so with the female staff. Went back to the hotel with family during one of the evenings that we stayed, there it was this female staff sitting there. We pressed for the lift and waited for quite some time - she could have told us that the lift was not working in the first place instead of sitting there until asked as we couldn't hear any lift mechanical movement .......pretty bad experience. Perhaps it was too cold for her to react to anything that night.
Offered very tiny beds with severe slanted floors, though I can't fault the hotel for this too much. Breakfast was extremely poor, stale bread (no fresh breads at all) everyday! And bread with some spreads are what you get - nothing else! Cereals are soggy even without the milk! Basic breakfast - bread or cereals, no more than that.
The location was good. Choise of restaurants in the neighbourhood.
Pics suggested the room was much nicer than reality..it was exactly what you would expect from a £40 room sadly.
Considering London standards, one of the best b&b i have ever stayed in.
Just the location. It's located in center of London, and near from the tube station.
First, Wifi never works! Second, unfriendly(or untrained) employees! They never told me that they have an elevator, and just watched me carrying my big luggage up to 2nd floor even twice!! After I found that they have an elevator at the very corner, I felt very upset and absurd. They don't offer you a tourist map or advices if you don't ask them. I travled a lot, and I've never experienced this kind of service ever. Third, the room isn't that clean. Maybe it would be a bit different depend on rooms, but in my case, the room wasn't cozy at all and bed and shower curtain were seemed to be changed with clean ones. If you have your small budget, and just want to stay 1 night, it'll be not that bad. But I'd rather say that you'll be able to find far much better hotels with similar price.
The room was very small, but absolutely tidy and clean. The location is 5 minutes from Portobello Road or Kensington Garden - super central. For less than 50 quid per night, it is excellent value for money.
Well, the breakfast is just cornflakes, toast with jam and instant coffee, I found that a bit boring.
Shower leaked. Over the shower curtain. And water didn't drain so had to shower in 60 seconds else would overflow . Beds tiny. Rock hard. Springs bad. I paid 36 for the room so was ok for me for the price. Would still stay again.
