The price! Possibly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, can't really complain too much as it was cheap! However, the staff were rude, the lift didn't work properly, the housekeeping wasa sub-standard and when we checked out we accidentally left a couple of items in the room, we telephoned the hotel and they wanted to charge £20 plus postage to return the items, I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and have never known that before! I find it disgusting! I would not recommened this hotel to anyone! But if you are on a tight budget you can't really complain

The apologetic evening receptionist. Hair in the bathroom and bed. Being woken by the noise of rats and mice in the night. Not being able to sit on the toilet as a wall was in the way. The room was too hot and bathroom too cold. The override on the bathroom fan went on too long The tv channels were internittent and limited. Noise from luggage room and kitchen next door. Inability to move rooms or hotel after advising morning reception of rodent noise after first night......

Nothing Apart from the one lady on Sat am shift, the staff were unhelpful. Tv and bedside lamps did not work. Poor quality of room overall. Continental breakfast was rubbish. Did not eat or drink anything. For £238 i have stayed in much better hotels in London.Way overpriced. I am surprised they are on your list. it is a Hostel. I have never complained before, and i have been everywhere. Finally, i have e mailed the manager, again something i have never done before, as it spoilt a very special weekend.

My room was advertised as a triple room so I had expected a nice comfortable room at £90. Couldn't have been more wrong. It was disgusting filthy room in the basement. A tiny window open up to a all inner courtyard piled with rubbish and old food. Had to shut window health and safety from all that filth and was so hot couldn't sleep with radiator on full even though May. Look to turn it down by lifting a lid to find it absolutely filthy. Awake all night then nauseating smell of greasy food in morning coz next to kitchen. Night of horror. Too tired to enjoy London next coz no sleep. Last room so couldn't change. Staff arrogant indifferent and rude.

We only stayed for 1 night but the room served its purpose. Everyone knows how expensive London can be but I feel the Wedgewood provides a clean room and bed for a great price. I would book again with this hotel in a heart beat. Great location great price.

The location was ideal for what we wanted to do and the area very quiet. I didn't like the blankets on the beds which appeared to be dirty and threadbare. Carpets were also dirty. There were no means of shutting the double bathroom doors from the inside; a simple handle on the lefthand door would have been sufficient.

I was glad to find the price, and the location very near my conference in Lancaster Gate. But I was a bit shocked to find lop-sided mattress on a camp bed, and nowhere to sit. I sat on the floor. It was very basic. But I accepted that as I realised it would be seen as cheap in that part of London, even though that is a lot of money for me. The bathroom area was clean. O yes, maybe you can save a little money by not having the heating on so high. I didn't want to have the heavy window very open, and let all that heating out from the ancient radiators. It was like being in a tropical climate and wanting cold showers. Which was just as well, because there was no hot water at 11pm, so I did have a cold shower, no water came out of the hot tap. But it was ok in the morning. And the toilet has a slow leak inside it, room 110, so was making trickling noise all night. But it was ok and nice to have my own space. It was nice to be facing the park with the trees. Thank you. All in the section above I would recommend the hotel ,and also warn them of the points I made above.

The location most of all , the reception staff were very polite and helpful , specialy the woman with veil , as far as I know she was morrocan originaly , very polite , helpful and very friendly , but also the rest of the team they deserve the same credit , for the price we've paid I think I was lucky to made a booking there ,perfect location , good restaurants surounding the area , excellant transportations ( 2 undergrounds stations) and massive buses going to every where . 10 mins from marble arch centre london ,20 mins fron london eye .very quiet area for a hotel , we've been given and adviced by the muslim veiled receptioniste to take the room we've stayed , not a single regret because we had to look at a small garden , about the lift which most of the reviews I was reading before and they said he was too small 3pax maximum or even just 2pax , I have to say it is nit necesary to talk about it or be upset , because I am sure that you will not use it all day as you spend most of your time in london not in the hotel lol , otherwise young people could have easley use the stairs . thanx again the wedgwood , i'll be back . Tv probleme , as the receptionist asked us to pay £10 for the remode control for the tv as a guaranty , and that amount will be given back to us . am not sure if he explain properly as i understand very good the english language , but in the end gave us only £5 ??? . he said : ihave explained the terms and condition already sorry !!!.

Doesn't deserve some of the reviews I've read: cheap but pleasant. Shower was hot with Plent of water, room was warm and clean. Not enough bedding, though (no undersheet).

Apart from the location, I did not like anything. The Main factor was that I did not feel secured at the hotel and could not sleep. The breakfast was terrible. It would have been better not to serve any breakfast. I would have been better at sticking to Travel lodge, the hotel chain I stayed at in the past.

Great location & clean. Quite over-priced though... Moved to a 4 star hotel (from lastminute.com) for the same price after a couple of days. Location was the only sacrifice!

It´s simple. It´s not an hotel designed to be enjoyed its just a place to sleep. For turism is perfect because you spend the day on the street. It has lift, breakfirst, individual room and bathroom, which fit my needs.

Competitively priced and handy for the Circle/District or Central line. I would probably go there again. Not ideal if you need a receipt for tax or expense claim purposes. They ask you to pay on arrival, but the night porter apparently can't print vat receipts. You have to go and ask for your receipt in the morning, and then they give you one with "copy" printed across it. Strange. Oh, and the single beds are a tad on the narrow side. And mind you don't stub your toe on the metal edge of the step leading up into the bathroom. It hurts a lot. Otherwise OK.

Location and cost The staff were rude and condescending. It was clear that they thought they they were doing us a favor by allowing us to stay at their hotel, even down to the hassel of renting a remote control for the tv. That is right! The tv remote control had to be rented.

The double bed was a three quarter bed, very uncomfy, felt every spring. noises through the night as if the boiler was running and not turning off. The breakfast left a lot to be desired, very minimal choice, some guests take their own toast toppings, and the bread must have been the cheapest they could find, it was like cardboard.
