The giant bed, quiet location and an excellent night's sleep. Great view of the river. Fiona & Aileen made us feel very at home; we would definitely return.
We loved it all!
The owners were amazingly friendly and welcoming, remembering that it was my husband's birthday and congratulating him. They recommended some wonderful restaurants so that I could book in advance. Beautiful view from room and a beautiful room. Delicious breakfast, lots of variety and high quality.
Nothing - it was perfect!
the staff greeting. The easy parking and letting me leave car there for the day whilst visiting london. Location- able to find somewhere very close for an evening meal
No full length mirror, fan on fridge ( tip- dont open it then it wont make a noise !) Pillows a bit hard- but I am fussy !
The owners really care about you having an enjoyable and comfortable stay.
Would be nice to have a hot breakfast in winter
We liked the very friendly welcome, the comfortable spacious bedroom with a lovely view of the river. We have been visiting Pangbourne for many years and consider this the best B&B.
The accommodation has a fantastic view of the river, wier and pub/restaurant over the road, and is close enough to village centre. The village is very nice, ideally located for riverside walks to/from Reading and Goring & Streatley, with train links to both. Friendly and helpful owners.
There was nothing that I did not like.
Very comfortable, friendly staff
My taxi driver could not find it; trains between Reading and Pangbourne were delayed
My executive suite was just lovely. I could not have asked for more. And the location is wonderful - right next to the station and opposite a quaint little pub.
A cooked breakfast would have been a bonus, but this honestly did not detract too much from my stay overall.
overall very good indeed
bed and pillows were a bit hard but that is only thing that was less than excellent
No fuss, just a friendly welcome which is how I like it.
Nothing to say here.
Prime location in a beautiful English countryside village overviewing Thames, clean and spacious room with kingsize bed and most importantly friendly staff made our weekend stay really enjoyable and comfortable.
Our device didn't find any Wi-Fi signal. But it was not a problem as we were UK residents (had an access to UK network).
Warmth of welcome; excellence of room and service
Very clean and friendly B&B with an overall high quality
The very friendly welcome by the proprietors. The comfortable room with a lovely view of Pangbourne Weir.
The comfort of the room, being able to regulate room temperatures, the large bathroom.
Another bedroom chair required. A full English breakfast was not served. No clad anion gat weekends.
Great location, well appointed rooms, very welcoming. Good parking facilities, short stroll to pubs shops/cafes in Pangbourne. Despite proximity to railway line/station it was quiet and peaceful at night. Good quality contiental breakfast.
Eileen went out of her way to be helpful and friendly to a weary traveller. Room was lovely, bathroom was big, clean and luxurious. Highly recommended.
Very helpful staff when I didn't feel well in the morning!
Having to choose what time to have breakfast the day before
The staff were exceptionally friendly and bent over backwards to assist and advise us. They recommended local restaurants and places of interest and even downloaded a train timetable for us. We would certainly recommend Weir View House.

Breakfast could have had a cooked option
The facility was quiet even though it is located on a busy street. The staff was helpful and congenial. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was good. The setting was authentically small village England. Loved it.
