Ideal location, right next to Rock City, which was the venue for our trip. Multi-storey car park next door, so parking very easy, limited hotel parking is available too though. Clean hotel, good facilities, great price. Generally well suited to any stay requiring you to be central to Nottingham, as the centre square is about a 5-10 minute walk away as are most of the big venues. Shower was ok but not great. Window was currently taped shut, lock bust. Didn't spring open or cause noise though.

The location is excellent. They serve a very good breakfast buffet and staff is friendly It is near a nightclub and you can hear the music from your room which isn't really loud but still audible. The room are dated and the shower screens do not contain the water splashing therefore causing puddles around the toilet pedestal. This has been the case the last 5 times I have stayed there but nevertheless if you are there for only one night then it is not an issue.

We stopped in a superior double room on the 2nd floor. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location of the hotel was good in respect of surrounding bars/restaurants. The breakfast was fantastic, plenty of choice. We were woken at 4am by another hotel resident banging on his door in order for his room-mate to answer. This continued for 2hrs and therefore disturbed our sleep.

Hotel is nice and comfy & a brilliant location for Rock City music venue being a 2 min walk from the venue Bed was huge and very comfortable What i thought was the worst part of our stay, there is a public car park right next door to the hotel which is where we parked (£14 for 24 hours) when we checked in we got told, you can par in our car park below the building for £10 but you will need to take the key to unlock the gate ect, we said for the sake of £4 & the hassle we would leave the car where it was - then when we checked out the next day the same guy said - did you park next door because we get a discount - he then gave us a voucher to give in at the car park and we got the parking for £8.80 - £1.20 cheaper then the hotel wanted to charge us wich we thought was really bad. Also there was a lamp shade missing from one of the lamps and the loo was leaking slightly

very very big bed and the reception staff was very friendly. close to city centre. the breakfast was awful for the 10pounds extra, actually it was awful in general. I was having breakfast around 8in the morning and the food was like leftovers from last night. there was nothing i could eat without feeling disgust. i ended up drinking instant coffe. a very very very expensive instant coffe!!!!!! the staff in the restaurant were quite unprofessional, constantly flerting and chatting to customers. the room itself was really cold and the wireless was very weak at my room, so it was pointless. the network wasnt even appearing on my device. the bathroom wasnt clean in a professional standards and the sink tab was broken. if you want to book this hotel after all this, ... what can I say! !!

Nice big comfortable bed with no noise from rock city next door. We were on the 4th floor at the back of the hotel which may have helped. Need to sort the roller shutter doors for the hotels underground car park as they do not open as you approach them with your vehicle. I had to go back to reception for the remote fob which you should not need to use. The receptionist could grasp this issue when I tried to explain this.

It was handy and friendly There were serious problems with the window catch (faulty and wouldn't close); exacerbated by very cold conditions outside; The shower/bath divider was stuck and dirty and in danger of collapsing These complaints were listed in a note to the manager
