very noisey ,walls very thin and lots of slamming doors in morning

Staff always willing to help whenever possible. Powerful hot showers, comfortable beds. Golf course, Meadowhall shopping centre, bowling alley & crown carvery (daytime & breakfast) all nearby. 2 happy (forty/fifty something) couples.

No bar. Wi-fi can be a little iffy - any problem - see reception - they'll see you right.

this is the best hotel to stay in ..close to sheffield ..and has a GREAT spa!

the hotel was clean and the staff were very welcoming. we were under the impression the hotel had more on site facilities. maybe a bar and restaurant but there were plenty of nearby places to visit and not far from town. we had a good night out and the hotel staff phoned Taxi's for us. All the reception staff were helpful at all times and we would definitely stay again.

We were awakened at 5:27am but loads of banging and what sounded like running up and down the corridor until around 7:30am

The staff were brill. Room was good value for money. Facilities were brill but didn't use them, only because we didn't have enough time. Overall *Recomended*

Little out of the way from Sheffield town, beds were a little on the old side.

Because we needed to be out promptly in the morning we went for the continental breakfast. There was a choice of cereal and of either a chocolate muffin or a bagel. Of the 4 options on the 2 breakfasts they got 2 wrong!

Helpful,friendly staff. Really enjoyed being able to use the gym next door. Bedrooms spacious and impressed with the shower gel dispenser, so much better than them little plastic bottles that most hotels issue.

One of the bedrooms and the corridor had a distict smell of smoke

The location for our needs to visit family. Easily accessible but well away from heavy traffic. Very easy to find.

As my husband is disabled and needs plenty of warmth we would have appreciated the option of turning up the heating.

michael flattely in room upstairs riverdancing all afternoon and at 6am!!!

Enjoyed are stay,but we had to complain due to annoying guests in the room above 103.

The receptionist was so helpful and friendly. I like the swimming pool excellent and very clean.

Despite booking through Booking.com, on arrival I was told that I had no reservation! Hard beds. Sparsely furnished and very basic rooms. Small TVs. Lack of other restaurants, pubs, etc., near by as facilities in Hotel were very poor standard

The shower leaks. We have mentioned this in reviews before but no improvements have been made.

Location and facilities , plus free swimming and fitness

Room nice and warm and very clean.

Wimpy closing so early. Carvery was closed due to weather / staff shortage.

Comfortable bed, close to Meadowhall shopping centre and reduced rates for bowling at leisure centre next door
