Relaxed staff,compy room

The room was extremetly clean. The bed was comfy and the room was spacious and well equipped

No bar or restaurant on site

Easy to find.Free use of local gym and pool facilities.Reduced cost of bowling facilities. Good local eating and drinking facilities. Pleasant staff. Basic comfortable,clean rooms.

No hot chocolate available in the room,not being picky, but 2 guests with us unable to drink tea or coffee due to medical reasons. A table in the double room would have been a bonus.

Well placed with easy access to Sheffield/Rotherham. Very helpful staff and comfortable rooms

Lovely clean hotel, good friendly staff and had the benefit of the use of the swimming pool and health club facilties

The breakfast was continental and not a full english breakfast and it never had a bar.

The Welcome Inn provided exactly what we wanted and exceeded expectations. Rooms bright, clean with a good tv, tea coffee tray and large shower. We will return.

Had no problems booking in, staff friendly, facilities good, includes wired internet, tv (although limited choice of viewing), Air Con (a real bonus as room very warm), Excellent (hot) shower. Nice, clean and fresh. Didn't try off-site swimming and health club nor available food. A continental breakfast is available, delivered to room. Hot breakfast rolls such as bacon etc can be ordered and delivered to reception. There is a couple of snack machines on ground floor and desked is manned 24 hour. Will definately stay again if in Rotherham and book via www.booking.com as it is easy and cheaper. Only there for one night and certainly excellent value.

The hotel is located in the right place which made it easy for me to commute. The room was very clean. For the short stay I had it was excellent I will stay again, the location of the hotel is where I visit on a regular basis. Excellent

I was disappointed as the cafe was not open during the stay and yet we had not been told this on boking and it was more that the distance quoted on website from Meadowhall.

Friendly helpful staff

Depressing location. Noisy.

As we were visiting Friends in Rotherham and also down for a Football Match being played at Don Valley Stadium, it was the ideal location and quiet in the evening. Good facilities as there was use of the pool at the Oasis gym, which was very nice. The Bowling alley although we did not use looked friendly and offered a bar / eating area. Perfect location if you do not want to stay in a noisy central town location. We walked from Rotherham as it was nice to see the area, about 25 mins and then we walked to Meadowhall, also about 25 mins and spectacular views on Meadowhall Road of Sheffield.

I have stayed in various hotel up and down the country I have also worked in hotels and to be honest I was more than pleased with the welcome inn it was clean bright tidy and for 39 pound it was better than most hotels I have stayed in for £80 so I would definaitly recomend staying there and I will stay there again. There showers are excellent I didn't want to get out!!
