very comfortable and easily accessed northbound -

not so easy to return to the south bound carriageway - could be better sign posted

Cleanliness and the staff are always polite and lovely - for a motor way hotel this is rare - keep it up!!!!!

The food was bland but edible. Even though the menu is minimal, what you do provide should be better tasting, spaghetti bolognaise isn't difficult, and watery pasta - nasty!!!!! Also the bedrooms should be checked, as there wasnt enough toilet paper and the hand soap dispenser above the sink was empty. JUst little things can make it a whole lot better.

Staff were friendly and facilities were clean and functional. This is an ideal place to break up a journey without getting too far off the Motorway but far enough for some peace and quiet.

It was difficult to access - no signs on how to get the barrier raised or directions.

It was clean, practical, and quiet considering it's close location to the motorway. Pet friendly with a good area to walk away from busy roads. Good value for money.

Unfortunately there was a crowd of young boys staying and they were in and out of their rooms all night, letting the doors slam behind them. Door closers to avoid slamming would be a good idea.

Frendly staff at reception, good service and very confortable bed

The room was very comfortable and I liked the fact I could take my dog. Also the grounds around the hotel were very handy to walk the dog. All in all I was very impressed. The bar and restaurant were also very handy as it meant we didn't have to venture out as we were short on time.

Although the restaurant was handy the food wasn't up to much. Also there was only one desert available on the menu and it was brought to me without any custard as advertised. It was a treacle sponge. I then requested icecream with it and it took ages as they had to go across to the services to fetch it. When it was presented back to me the icecream had fully melted. I didnot enjoy it. But that was all i didn't enjoy.

the staff on the desk were pleasant but the breakfast and cleaning staff were quiet and didnt smile or say hello when i did.

the room (26) smelt heavily of musty urine, the carpet was very old, worn and dated. I felt as though we were misled as the advert says recently refurbished but our room definitely not had been. the bathroom was dark but ok, the formica worktop/dressing table was badly chipped and stained (with what looked like dried blood) the front door was really really hard to open (even the memeber of staff who checked the room said it had got stuck and could somebody help. We had to ask the staff for some pillows as there were none in the room. There was only one biscuit which was crushed so much it couldnt be eaten.

this hotel sits in quiet grounds, for a relaxing weekend it is clean and the rooms are bright and fresh, coffee in your room, powerful shower, and a comfy bed, who could want more from a short break, the staff are very friendly, and quite knowledgable about the surrounding area, would stay here again

the breakfast although there was a good variety, seemed to be a bit dried up, and could offer a variety of eggs not just scrambled

It was very peaceful and relaxed. We were able to have two nights unbroken sleep ready for early starts the next day.
