Location to preston, ormskirk, and lancashire area. Plenty of parking, countryside surroundings. cold rooms, windows letting wind/air in. Old Fixtures in bathroom, cold temperatures in room and the bathroom. Pets were allowed to stay in rooms. If had known this, in advance of book, would ask for a room that had not had pets in at all.

Clean comfortable rooms at a good price and a great location for us travelling up north to visit relatives. The poor guy who was left all on his own in the restaurant, we were happy to wait as we knew he had no help and we were not in any hurry, but we feel that he should have had help as some people were ready to take it out on him through no fault of his own.

Convenience and price. Restaurant. On both our recent stays the evening meal has been poor. The steak pie was swimming in Bisto gravy and was served with Smash potato and the pizza which was advertised as 12 inches fortunately was only 9 inches as it was inferior; in addition, the breakfast orang juice had been diluted to make it very watery..

Very good overnight stay whilst travelling south The exit for going south was a bit hit and miss as cars were coming in and jumping the queue and we had to phone reception in the end to get out.

On arrival, after a long journey and a very long day of work, I found the staff to be friendly and efficient getting us booked in as quickly as possible. The rooms were neat & tidy and very spacious with excellent facilities. The bar/restaurant was also very good, the choice of meals (particularly as I am a Vegetarian) was very good indeed. Both meals taken by my party were excellent. Many thanks to all & I look foreward to visiting you again.

After visiting the hotel before I was disappointed this time to find the bathroom very dirty! The bath had scum all around it and there were lots of cobwebs hanging from the celing. Having said that I would stay there again because of the location, price and previous visits!

Very good price for the room. I had a meal in the restaurant, and although not Egon Ronay it was of a reasonable standard for this type of Motel / Lodge, huge steak and chips £ 15. Good location with free parking. Room and bathroom a bit tired, it could do with some prints on the walls and in the corridors to cheer the place up a bit. If they ever do any bathroom modernisation, get rid of the bath and get a good shower.
