You were able to accommodate my dog Reception staff on arrival were not friendly. Breakfast was poor, would be much better if the hotel had its own restaurant or ajoining restaurant/bar facility.

Convenient stopover on long journey Not really a complaint - a suggestion Lots of drinks and snacks available for sale at reception but no fresh milk. A small carton of milk was a purchase we would have liked to make. Service station had only large cartons. Not everyone can use uht which was provided on hospitality tray.

Quiet and peaceful. Near the Gateway Outlet Village where you can shop at your leisure at great prices. Ok to find off the Motorway but not so easy to get back from shopping area.

The location was very good, nice easy access into Gretna. We were never giving a option of cooked breakfast, also its not good practice having to eat your breakfast on your bed, either a table is required or a breakfast bar/room for all visitors to go and dine.

It was an overnight stop on our journey to Aviemore. At about half distance it was very convenient with no problem about our late arrival.

Handy for motorway, quiet.friendly staff.money saving vouchers for breakfastin nearby services. Dull rooms, very clinical bathroom, complete with a hole under the lino, near the sink where the floor has rotted away and the floor covering is all that was holding you up! Bathroom door was hard to close due to the ball type of catch. They need Ruth the hotel inspector!

Ideal stop off on route to Scotland. Takes dogs for a small charge. The room looked a bit tired. The sofa bed in our room had broken slats protruding and a very marked cover but the bed was ok, bit spingy and only one pillow per person. Shower wasn't very hot and tricky to control.

we arrived at 9pm and were made very welcome straight away. The room was very well appointed and we liked the fact we could control the temperature to our liking. beds were extra comfortable and refreshments very welcome. lovely big bath towels and fabulous shower.Checking out was easy and member of staff very helpful when we asked directions for where we were heading to. We would have loved to stay longer and shall certainly consider going again. We would slso reccommend it to anyone travelling north and in need of a stop over.

That it was a perfect location for us to attend a wedding at the Mill Forge. The manageress was very friendly and helpful. If ever we were to be in Gretna again we would come back to this hotel. The bed was too soft and the room was quite warm.

the hotel was very clean, staff were very friendly, the room was a nice size for our over night stay, the room its self was decently priced. the only downfall to the hotel which will be a bonus for some was there was no bar on the premises where we could have a couple of drinks before heading out for the nite.
