The 2 rooms we booked were a decent size, compared to other Blackpool hotels we've stayed in. Quiet for families during the week. Bar has a pool table and Wii. Friendly staff. 5 minute walk from the tower.
The staff were excellent and very friendly and very family orientated. The hotel was a 2 minute walk to the seafront and bang in the middle of Blackpool Tower and the Pleasure beach. Me and the kids loved every minute of the holiday and hopefully would love to go back again in the near future.
Prime location and feeling staff
The hotel needs a complete refurb. Carpet in hallway dirty and tissues left behind bed. Safety rail on bunk bed broken n fixed with gaffer tape. Owners needs to spent money on hotel. Internet pictures must have been taken when refurb was done many years ago
The staff was friendly and welcoming. Considering the hotel had a late night bar for most of the stay it wasn't too noisy at night.
The room was cold in one of the rooms, think the radiator was broken, was mentioned during the stay but was not rectified.
great facilities for all the family the staff were fantastic always ready to help with any problems and they were great with kids could not ask for more ideally situated no more than a 5 min walk from beach and central pier
the wellington was a clean and very friendly place to stay. we booked breakfast which was very good and excellent value for money.
water didnt drain from shower and on inspection the plughole was very blocked. i cleaned it myself but must admit i didnt report it so i didnt give them a chance to rectify the issue so i cant blame them too much.
Staff were so friendly! The hotel was close enough to walk to the sea front and see the blackpool tower from our window but not too close so we could escape :)
Did have one night when we had a TV next door keep us awake until 2. Also some of the fittings in the bathroom like the shower doors didn't always work.
We found the staff very friendly and very helpful
The family room layout. It's close to the Central Pier. The first night was excellent we were given a warm welcome and was given the the room right at the top number 35. This was because i had requested a quiet room. The bar was well equipped for adults and children. Nice shower. Towels provided budget. One night we slept well, till the guests arrived next door. Then it went down hill.
That the walls are thin,so thin that you could hear the people in the next room. We didn't sleep well for three nights Because of the guests next door. They were not loud. But the walls are so thin we heard everything till early hours in the morning from talking, laughing to going to the toilet. You can hear every door slamming and people running up the stairs and corridors. It gets really annoying when you are exhausted from a day of entertaining the kids. And you are still listening to the neighbours and other guests at 3 am maybe longer. I have stayed in bnbs before and heard the odd door slam and floor creak. And it has been fine. But this was awful. I chose this Hotel because it advertised as being a family hotel during mon-fri. The tap in the wash room was constantly scalding hot. tv did not work well. And I had to climb to reach it. Hole in the ceiling. The door doesn't open well as the bunk bed blocks it. rail guard on bunk bed was broken.
staff were friendly, very clean enjoyed my stay
It's the staff that make this place. They are so friendly and welcoming and nothing is to much from the friendly girls in the reception to the lovely Scottish breakfast cook. Its a basic guest house very clean and tidy and has everything needed for a family break my children loved the family room and the sleeping arrangements were perfect. The location is perfect. We will definitely stay here again..
Had no facilities for kettle to make a cup of tea. Room was very hot and empty. Staff was not helpful
Location was good.
Had to ask for room to be tidied, bins emptied, towels changed ect. Wifi was so weak you could only use it in the room it was in. Other guests including children and dogs making noise at all hours of nite. Over priced drinks at the bar.
location was excellent. the hotel was good value for money, clean and tidy. great amenities for the kids
no one in our party of 18 could connect to wi-fi
we went as a family of 5 and got such a warm welcome on arrival, which set the standard for the rest of the week. all the staff where amazing, happy and very helpfull. we would'nt stay anywhere else in blackpool! kids felt at home and able to be themselves. the hotel was in a great location, close to beach, tower and plenty of shops.we' r already planning our next visit :-) thank you wellington from the whole family
The staff were lovely and it was in a brilliant location near to all the shops, the pier and the tower
Hotel was not very clean, there was a big ball of hair on the bed in the mattress protector chewing gum on the wardrobe beds were uncomfortable 13.5 tog duvets on the bed in summertime it was way too hot for that, children running riot through corridors slamming bedroom doors til early hours in the morning and was rushed for breakfast every morning
The room was dated, window was frosted couldnt see out. TV didnt work and so old. Bedding was basic. Not enough towels and not matching. Shower was cold in the morning hot in the evening. Would not stay here again. Rough area!
The hotel wasnt very clean, the cook in the morning serving breakfast was rude. There was no-one ever around and it could be difficult to report an issue. The Tv was outdated and hardly worked. I would never return to this hotel
Family rooms absolutely little that no any space for children play. No changin sheets and we stayed 5 days in there. No ventilation and windows open just few inches. It was inside over 30degree by Celsius. No space for bag, even in reception. Don't trust good reviews and we trusted but dessapointed so much. Never back again !!!
friendliness of staff great price central location clean rooms would definately stay here again
I found nothing to dislike.
I think her name was kirsty at the reception was very polite and helpful, and also the barman.
Friendly staff Clean rooms Nice shower and en suite bathrooms Good price Good for groups as there were bunkbeds
No working wifi Room was very hot on top floor
