Marci and Gary are wonderful hosts. We were given a warm welcome with a pot of tea and our cases carried to our rooms. The guesthouse is lovely and full of character. A great choice for breakfast including full English or smoked salmon. Nothing was too much trouble. Hope to return soon
Nothing not to like about Wellington Farm
Made too feel welcome and the full ENLISH breakfast.
it was so good, well it was excellent!! the owners treated us very well! lovely owners and amazing surrounding!!
Very welcoming to a single guest
Would be good to have wifi in room
Very lovely hosts. Excellent cream teas available in the garden. Breakfast delicious. Cosy place. Liked it!
After a tortuous trip from Bath, guided by a malfunctioning TomTom we could have not have had better place to end up and relax. No parking problems. The reception was friendly and welcoming. We particularly liked the sitting room where we met and chatted with fellow travellers.
Our hosts were so warm and friendly. We felt at home and were sad to leave.
Nothing we didn't like
Cosy and a really lovely breakfast.
Lovely couple who run the B & B. Great breakfast. Very helpful and let us check out late. Amazing scones.
The hosts, Gary and Marcia were both lovely. Very friendly and helpful. Accommodation was comfortable and clean and breakfast was included in the price. Gary and Marcia were very approachable and made us feel very welcome. The location is fabulous with amazing views of the local countryside. We would definitely go there again !!
I found no faults whatsoever. If there had been problems, I would have mentioned them but ... No problems at all !
Definitely go back ,gary n Marciano could not do enough charming couple, countryside, horses and pigs
Near the noisey a35 road
Owners seemed pleasant but they need to use discretion where required to provide better customer service.
It is clear that the B&B owners have problems with guests wishing to leave early, demonstrated by the way they take your money for the stay within seconds of arrival & don't consider refunds for unused nights at all even when guests fall very ill. It's not surprising that guests leave early - the B&B is located on a really busy A road, very loud through the night & very difficult to sleep. Curtains are completely see-through so light flooded in making matters worse. We really would not recommend staying here if you want to get any rest.
friendly warm welcome and breakfast
because it was warm had to leave window open, so a bit loud when traffic went past
easy to find, comfortable bed & fan for hot weather. Lovely welcoming owners who were very helpful.Really nice breakfasts too!
Friendly atmosphere, clean and well presented. A lovely chocolate box cottage with a small farm at the back also a decking area to enjoy afternoon tea in the sunshine. Easy to find with ample parking. Loved my stay and would highly recommend.
Very nice room, very welcoming couple who run the guest house. Lovely breakfast Good access to lovely scenery and also
Guesthouse was on a main road, and the traffic was very busy even late at night, noisy particularly with the windows open due to the weather.
Very friendly welcome with a pot of tea! Excellent breakfast and extremely genial hosts. Will definitely return when next in the area.
Nothing to mention
lovely warm welcome, easy, relaxed, helpful
Everything. Breakfast was excellent and the owners were exceptionally friendly and very helpful.
Nothing to dislike!!
Loved the clean comfortable room and great atmosphere and decor of the listed property. Marcia and Gary cooked a delicious breakfast.
A larger bed would have have been lovely.
I stayed in a double room with ensuite bathroom. The room was well outfitted with hair dryer , tissue boxes, nicely scented , chocolates and with pretty bedding. Water pressure was good. Hosts were very friendly. Great cream tea with scones. Good breakfasts.
Towels were stiff and rough. The bathroom could do with a floor mat outside the shower.
Our hosts were welcoming The room was bright and clean The cream tea delicious Thank you for an enjoyable stay
Fantastic hosts a very friendly couple always so happy & smiling we had a great time & wished we had stayed longer will go back with no hesitation if we are that way again
Bed was comfortable, breakfast good, room clean. No real noise from busy road so that wasn't a problem. Cream teas served but no food in evenings. Nice food at White Hart 5 mins away by foot.
Not much around. Road is busy.
Friendly and helpful owners, lovely cottage and interesting setting.
