Cambridge
In Cornwall’s most westerly town, 10 minutes from Penzance, the Wellington Hotel St Just offers rooms with private bathrooms with TVs and free Wi-Fi. Rooms overlook the grounds or market square. Built before the Battle of Waterloo, the Wellington has been a hotel since 1813. It’s named after the Duke of Wellington who is said to have visited the hotel. The Wellington has a restaurant and a fully licensed bar which serves real ales. The beer garden is open in the summer while the bar and restaurant are open year-round. St Just is one mile from the sea and 8 minutes from Land’s End. Many of Cornwall’s sights are in easy driving distance. The cliff-top Minack Theater, ferries to the Scilly Isles and St Michael’s Mount are all within a 15 minute drive while the Tate St Ives and the center of town are 14 miles away. Hotel Rooms: 11

I liked having a bath! I didnt like having to have evening meals in the bar area = too crowded.Would have preferred the quieter dining room upstairs.

Good location. St Just is a lovely small town. Hotel needs a lot of T.L.C. The rubber mat in my shower was black with mould on its back.

The situation was a very traditional pub. Upstairs the rooms were of a good standard as I would expect in this kind of accommodation

Looks very quaint from the outside. Nice pub inside. Nice location, close to Land's End. Room itself a bit old-fashioned. Looked more quaint from the outside than it was from the inside.

Nice clean room. Good location. Nice food. Reasonable price. Room was right off beer garden so would be noisy on summer evenings.

good central location Room and bathroom very small particlarly with a double bed in it. Would be better with a single bed which would allow you more room to manouvre. No Apparent lounge area with comfy chairs. only bar area where you could sit and relax

friendly and accomodating pleasant staff the room was scruffy and not particularly clean {was clean in obvious places}and it was in need of a dusting. The door frame was cracked and it looked like it had at some time been broken into. The lock had been moved about. The wallpaper was coming off the wall in places. However we do appreciate the economic climate in the last few years has not been easy for hoteliers.

Good pub bar food. Good choice of breakfast .All tasty and in good volume. Nice place for locals to interface with the visitors over a drink in the bar/outside tables. Good location in the village square with acces to local stores for provision/newspapers, etc I saw no evidence of the 2-star rating posted by 'Booking.com' and would take issue here - it had no stars - just a rusty 'AA Recommended' sign overhanging the hotel entrance, which reflects much of the general decor. Facilites very basic, just really a tatty old pub with a few bed rooms of which the annex was a bit better than a bunk house shed, but with double bed and a bunk bed. The ensuite was circa 1970's and was likely last redecorated/updraded about then, with a shower that was under powered and mould round the edges of the fixtures. Not sure if it required redecroration or just burning.

The beds were so comfortable, carpets soft and the bathrooms spacious. Steps up to rooms a bit steep and one night it was very noisy trying to get to sleep from the pub downstairs, but this was only once in our stay.

The location was perfect. My daughter and I were able to walk in the area and also were able to visit the Minack theatre. St Just is a delightful small town which feels like real people live there and is not just a holiday resort. We loved it and would certainly visit again.! We liked everything!
