The apartment was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed, including tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. The location was perfect for exploring Inverness and Ness Islands. It was quiet and peaceful too!

Our apartment is very important to us. It is a relaxing and pleasant place for ourselves, family, friends and most importantly our holiday guests who come to visit Inverness for a short break or a vacation. We have taken the time to make our property welcoming and homely for us and our guests. The property is warm and cosy in cooler weather. The living room, kitchen and main bedroom benefit from natural light and on sunny days the French doors can be opened allowing use of the balcony. Wellingtonia Court is planted with shrubs, trees, and flowers and is out of the way of the hustle and bustle of the town centre but with easy access to the town and amenities, many within easy walking distance.
We enjoy going for walks, days out, picnics, cinema and theatre, wildlife, fishing and various crafts and hobbies. Wellingtonia apartment is well placed for us to do many of the things we love doing.
The River Ness is about 2 minutes walk from the apartment. If you walk left towards the town centre along the river you will pass Eden Court Theatre and Inverness Cathedral. Inverness Castle overlooks the river. You can also walk on the other side by crossing the foot bridge. If you choose to walk up river you will come to Ness Islands also accessible by foot bridge and a very pleasant walk. Close by is the sports centre with swimming pools, climbing wall, health suite, spa etc. Next to this is Inverness Botanical Garden which as free admission. It has a cactus house, tropical house with fish pond, landscaped gardens, vegetable gardens and a nice coffee shop. Carrying on up river is Whin Park with its large children's play area boating pond, miniature railway and shop selling ice cream and teas. The Caledonian Canal can be accessed from the park. The towpath is level and good for walking. There is usually plenty to see in the way of boats. You can walk passed the marina and to Dochgarroch Lock which is facinating to see in operation.
