I enjoyed the stay at Wellington park hotel, good value and clean rooms. I feel that a swimming and sauna facility would have enhanced the stay. Also on the Saturday evening we found that all the tables were reserved for the entertainment, and therfore it was difficult to get the full enjoyment of this.

We enjoyed an excellent night, close to where we were going and we had confidence that our car was securely parked. Hotel was clean and comfortable and quiet even though is in a busy area. No water provided in the bedroom, only tea/coffee.

Convenient location, ease of access, friendly, efficient staff. The staff are this hotel's best asset. It was cold in the room on arrival. The heating then worked very well but the ground always felt cold. My feet were really cold for some reason. Then again, It's always a few degreess colder in Northern Ireland than in the South!!!

Very comfortable-good value stay.Comfortable beds with high quality, soft cotton linen. No problem to accomodate three friends in triple bedded room.Had great sleep-and although very noisy outside(was St Patrick's Day!);the room-as I had requested was quiet. Hotel had been recomended by Irish friend who had stayed there. Although we didn't spend much time in room;TV reception and choice of chanels was poor. Very powerful over bath shower but found difficult to regulate temperature.

Very comfortable and quiet, had expected that it would be quite noisy, the room was lovely and warm, often in the past I have had to request the heating be put on several times, the receptionist was very friendly. I would stay again. Not a complaint but If there were several smoking rooms that would be a big bonus for people like me and many of my friends and co-workers.

I found staff helpful polite and keen.I enjoyed my dinner and breakfast although would have liked a pot of coffee on table at breakfast.I enjoyed the entertainment at the hotel as it finished off a lovely evening at the theatre. My room was clean comfortable and I had all I required. Eileen Doak

Room was a little tired with a couple of holes in the carpet. Restaurant staff were useless, in fact I walked out after waiting almost ten minutes for someone to attend to me.

The staff tried hard. A four star hotel - not this century! The hotel in general is very old and tired, the breakfast was similar and the location is not great. If it was promoted and priced as a three star it would be fair but overall we were very disappointed in this hotel compared to others in Ireland.

On the Malone Rd.it is very adjacent to Sports grounds,University and a nice short walk into the city centre. There is a good transport service locally--Taxis and Buses. The hotel has always had good management with proper customer service and attention. The breakfast service was poor and most of the food had been cooked away in the kitchen some considerable time before we ordered it. This was not the first time I have mentioned it at reception also the tired attitude of the waitress was not great.

I was a very frequent business user of this hotel in the period of 1984- 1993 when ni was part of my sales territory and when I was based in Dublin. Back then I recall with fond memory the wonderful cuisine and ambience in the dining room, something which I hope you can re-create? I also was made very welcome, then and now - a truly warm Irish welcome awaits every guest at this hotel always. Because I registered from the uk address I now live at it was assumed I was British which is not the case. I also notice this time that the branding (the lovely sculpture in the hotel lobby on the stationery) is gone too. Perhaps it's nostalgia and your profile has now deliberately become more mass market, but what brought me back this time was familiarity of the location and I have to be honest in say that otherwise the experience was somewhat disappointing in 2011 when compared to the more family feeling of the hotel in the past.

Excellent accomodation, rooms were very clean and extremely comfortable. We had a five course evening meal in the hotel's restaurant. The meal was very delicious, good value for money and I would highly recommend dining in the restaurant. Staff were very friendly and attentive, whilst providing a very efficient service on a such a busy night, New Years Eve. The showering facilities were inadequate and very poor. During our stay we phoned reception on the evening of arrival, asking why the water from the shower was cold after running the water for 30 minutes the water became lukewarm. The reception staff member advised us to leave the water running for as long as possible until it became warm as many people could be using their showering facilities also. The following morning we ran the water for over 45 minutes but the water was still freezing, cold. We were unable to shower in the morning. This is quite unacceptable especially for a 4* hotel as warm running water should be a basic necessity for all guests.
