We loved it all from the happy and helpful proprietors and staff. The room with the amazing roll top bath in the bathroom and outstanding views. The food, which was delicious, The settees in the lounge which I fell in love with. And....Archie the dog!
Very nice staff excellent Food good bed covers! Clean Victorian style house they know all about the details to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
nothing at all
I loved every minute of my time at the Wellpark. I would recommend it in a heartbeat and honestly cannot wait for another opportunity to return.
location; food (locally sourced); staff; little details; entertainment
The welcome, the service and friendliness of staff. The facilities were excellent and the dinners were really good. Location was second to none. Favourite hotel of the holiday!
Friendly, relaxed and informative staff. Beautiful location. Great care was taken over everything.
The Wellpark was perfect! We felt right at home (only better!) We ate dinner there every night because the food and service was so good. The staff was attentive and even went out of their way to make us sandwiches for a late afternoon golf trip. I would highly recommend Wellpark to anyone traveling in the area.
Stunning location, friendly staff, fantastic breakfasts
Trying to wedge the bathroom door open with a towel... :)
Welcoming staff, excellent service, and very comfortable.
We were given a very warm welcome, the room and bathroom was fabulous! The view from the room was amazing, seal's in the water deer in the garden and Arran in the distance, it was a pleasure from morning till night! All the staff were great even Archie ( the dog ) made us feel like part of the family, i was that comfortable i fell asleep in the lounge next to the fire. A fabulous 3 day stay!!!!!
Everything - relaxing; made to feel welcome; has every comfort you would need and owner/staff very attentive.
The little extra touches, the overall ambience, the beautifully appointed room, the very comfortable bed, the amazing views, the personal feel.
The owners are amazingly helpful, friendly and hospitable! Highly recommend this hotel, should be at least a 4 star!
We had not realised that the room we booked did not have en suite, so we were very grateful to be upgraded (we were the only guests in the hotel). The room was spacious and had wonderful views. The meals were excellent. Communal spaces and dining areas all very nicely furnished. Nice, warm open fire in dining room.
The heating in the room was inadequate and it took 2-3 hours with a fan heater to warm it up. Furniture (chairs and chaise longue) in our room very pretty but all badly in need of re-upholstering.
Beautifully decorated to the highest standards. This is a small country house hotel that has the feel of the Scottish Lochs and mountains throughout. Very nice location and fantastic rooms. Good food, small welcoming bar, very attentive staff. Can't wait to go back but my next visit will be for leisure and I will take my wife and friends it's that good. Well done Anne and Colin on creating a fantastic Hotel.
Couldn't fault this hotel.
Little touches in the bedroom, relaxed atmosphere in the rest of the hotel
Everything was perfect. Cannot recommend it enough. Bedroom fantastic with incredible views over the Kyles of Bute to the Arran mountains. food excellent Lounge perfect with a lovely real log fire to sit with a drink or finish off your coffees sitting on a luxurious settee. Furnishings all everywhere lovely.
having to leave!!
Individual style No expense spared or detail missed in fitting out the rooms Friendly atmosphere Delicious breakfasts
Location Welcome Special rooms and views Excellent quality food
The glass of sherry in the room, actually it was more than a glass! The view across the kyles The hosts were lovely The bed was huge and comfortable Running across the hallway to the toilet. Bit of excitement.
The black pudding wasn't the best. Stornaway is the best or an equivalent local. A bit bland.
We stayed here on our way back from a trip round the Highlands and Islands - very close to the ferry from Tarbert. A super little hotel with very personal service, friendly staff and attention to detail. Restaurant is small but very good - Venison was top notch. We'd certainly stay again
