In a traditional Scottish manor house within beautiful landscaped grounds, the Macdonald Inchyra Hotel & Spa is on the outskirts of Falkirk and Grangemouth.

Fabulous faculties and staff, everything extra you'd need in a holiday home.
The property suited us in all respects
The play facilities were excellent for my daughter, the lodge was very well equipped.
Kids activities and facilities were excellent, especially for under 12's. Easy to find and get to from the motorway network, and lots of place within an hours drive. All the mod cons and equipment you could need in the cabin.
A shame that the play area was not illuminated for use after dusk. Would have liked to have seen a pool to compliment the other facilities.
Plenty of space to relax with a fantastic play area for the kids to enjoy
Sadly the weather let us down. God must do better next time. No fault of wellsfield farm.
home from home coffee biscuits etc well stocked
staff in shop could have more welcoming and pleasant during check in and having food
The lodge was very clean, warm and modern with a very comprehensive and good quality range of kitchen equipment. There were nice touches such as tea, coffee, etc
Super accommodation with a nice view finished to the highest standards lots of kitchen appliances
reception closes at 9pm there was no instruction on emergency phone numbers - however it should have been there (as per table of content of the welcome pack) unclear how/where to switch heating/radiator.. they charge 25% deposit non-refundable, however considering the value for money - it does not matter much..
Relaxing stay. Better value than a hotel room
Child and grandparent friendly. Hassle free accommodation with all the essentials thoughtfully provided. Ideal central location for family meeting up from all directions. Compact and accessible , ie. not a sprawling holiday campsite.
Can't think of any negatives
Thought the lodges were clean, comfortable - would be a great place to bring children to. We were two couples passing through so perfect for our requirements. Would recommend.
Shower ran out of hot water after 3rd shower
A very nice and large playground, good facilities, spacious rooms, well-equipped kitchen
Rather close to motorway (noise)
Nice area to walk, horses, plenty for kids, quiet.
Is close enough to the lochs. Stirling is a beautiful city 10 minutes away. And is a great place to chill out and for the kids to play.
The cabins were excellent. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and maintained well. The grounds around the cabins were also well maintained. The park facilities, although we did not use them looked excellent, especially for lids and families. We used the trout fishery and although one of the ponds was a bit weedy, the other two were fantastic. I understand the weed problem was being attended to this week so no problem there. We will definitely return.
Home from home.
The lay out & how helpful the staff were. The cabin was very well supplied with essentials. Cleanliness was A1.
The beds were uncomfortable
nice place for children ingenious playground with lots of things for youngs & olders. The lodge was very cosy, everything was well arranged, even in the small details to spend relaxed moments. Very nice place with horses.
an very convenient place to stay in central Scotland for the tourist trail
I lock on lodge no 4 is tempremental difficult to open and lock
The lodges were spotless & the decor was fantastic. Well equipped with everything you could possibly need & everything was top quality. Staff were very helpful & friendly. The kids (aged 3, 7, 7) loved it, as did the adults. We will definitely be going back, can't wait !!!!
Spacious clean friendly affordable
We liked everything. Grounds very well kept
Comfortable. Plenty to do for kids. Good outdoor space to sit/play. Grounds well kept.
No corkscrew Tv aerial faulty Generally clean but some bits missed.
We stayed in the Lodges for 3 nights while we were exploring the Stirling/Falkirk area of Scotland and found it a handy spot for travelling into Edinburgh to experience the Fringe and Tattoo without being charged the massively high hotel charges of the city. Although we were travelling with teenage daughters this place would be absolutely ideal for parents with young children as the play area is excellent. The lodge was super-clean and well stocked with everything you would need.
It was a nice getaway. Horses , play areas, beautiful cottage,,,
Room didn't have a drier but the gracious hosts were very helpful to get our dew soaked wash clothes dried up in their personal drier at home....these are things that make it so nice
