Very comfortable twin room with en-suite A very friendly welcome to the lovely Victorian building and a great breakfast. Our one night didn't give us time to explore much of Pitlochry so I'm sure when we return we'll be staying here again.

    Only having one night

Delightful old manor house which has been converted to an up-market B&B. Lovely gardens and charming interior with a beautiful guest sitting room. The breakfast was very comprehensive and hot food was cooked to order. The location was excellent for seeing the town on foot and the town itself is an good base for seeing the surrounding Scottish highlands including the distilleries.

The rooms, while tastefully renovated and very comfortable, were starting to show signs of wear such as peeling wallpaper especially in the bathroom. There was no shower - only a hand held over bath with no screen so you need to be able to sit to bathe.

The grandeur of the building both inside and out; the magic of sitting in the garden with the sun on my face surrounded by majestic scenery and listening to the birdsong and bagpipes being played on a Sunday morning. Superb breakfast including whiskey porridge! The warmth of the welcome. Such a comfortable bed with top quality linens. Location, just a short walk from the centre. I could go on and on and on!

My wife and I had a great stay at Wellwood House and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and this was portrayed through out the rest of the house.

I loved the grand old house, which was in an excellent position to explore the lovely town of Pitlochry. Just wished we had a little more time here. Very friendly hosts, small but comfortable and nicely decorated rooms, and delicious breakfast.

Nothing, although the bathroom was a little too small.

Beds were comfy and friendly welcome and location is perfect

Booking .com never really made it clear i was booking a shared facilities room. Breakfast wasn’t the best with everything being warm and horrible sausages, pots of tea were luke warm and the witress poured the tea as soon as the tea bag went in. I noticed a couple of couples with this issue.

    Location, breakfast, tidy room

The rip-off 3% surcharge for paying by credit card would be over £5 when the charges actually incurred by the guest house would be 50p. The 10:40 checkout is ridiculous and the one hour window for breakfast 08:00/09:00 is way too short and early for a weekend break. This all added up, means that It is just not good customer service but a cash grab!

The bed and the breakfast were outstanding, and Jim's tips on routes made our motorcycle touring all the better! Do not think twice about staying in this georgeous Victorian estate house! Plus, the location is excellent.
