L`accoglienza,la simpatia e disponibilita` della proprietaria...posizione centralissima..parcheggio comodo...colazione ottima!!..consigliatissimo!

Come in diversi altri hotel il segnale del wi-fi in camera non arriva e non ci si puo` connettere ad internet,diversamente da come descritto nella presentazione.

Couldn't have asked for anything else, great host, brilliant location, lovely breakfast, comfortable rooms, was a really nice stay, we will use the Wenden House again and I have already started to recommend it to friends and family.

There was nothing not to like about the Wenden Guest House, We will use it again next time we are in Newquay

We had a fabulous stay at the Wenden Guest House. Our room was spacious and spotless and our bed was very comfortable. Each room has a mini fridge, hair dryer and tea and coffee facilities and the guest house offers free-wifi. We enjoyed a cooked breakfast each morning which was delicious which came with as much tea/coffee, toast, cereals as you wished. The owner was very friendly and looked after us throughout our stay. We will definitely be back!

Friendly manager, Cosy bedrooms and lounge, nice views, close to town and shops and the beaches. Lovely coastal walks nearby. Overall an enjoyable stay.

room was quite small, was fine for a short break but for a week would of been a bit of an issue.

Nice clean room with all the facilities you need. Loved the bathroom. Cilla was a great host and we really enjoyed our stay there.

our room was right at the front of the house so every night especially weekends we got a LOT of noise from drunk people outside till early hours !!

Nothing bad to say very enjoyable stay

Me and my partner stayed at Wenden Guest House last week, we were very happy with our stay.. There is several options for breakfast from cooked breakfast to fresh fruit and cereal. The cooked breakfasts were very nice and kept us going all day. The room was lovely, up to date and very clean Hosts Cilla was lovely and very welcoming and nothing was ever to much trouble and full of knowledge of the area and useful tips regarding visiting places in the area. I would highly reccomend this place to stay, it is ideally located in Newquay and lovely place to stay :)

Friendly, clean and well located for touring around Cornwall

Rooms a bit small with only one chair to sit on for two people. There was no guest lounge and so one of us always had to sit on the bed.

Really friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, comfy and spacious rooms with wifi, tv, fridge. Really good location for fistral beach and the smaller beaches. Parking nearby. Really close to shops and restaurants.

Cilla the host was very friendly and efficient. She made the holiday enjoyable with her local knowledge. The breakfast every day was of your own choice and was very tasty. The room was cleaned each day and clean towels were left which made the stay more pleasant. The additional advantage was having local car parking.

I would say that the Wendon is more like a 4 star accomodation.We had a relaxing week in cornwall the Wendon is in a perfect place just around the corner from pubs and restaurants.Cilla was a perfect host very friendly we were served a very nice breakfast everyday. The rooms are modern and the bed very comfortable.I would recommend the Wendon to anyone wanting a break in Newquay.

Very welcoming, perfect position for the town station and beaches, lovely little room and huge breakfasts! Would happily recommend to anybody.

Only wish we'd gone a week later. Newquay was cool, cloudy and damp - today its mid 20's and sunny. Just our bad luck - hardly Cilla and Mike's fault!!

Owner could not have done enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble. Would recomend the Wenden to all and would stay there again.

The owner was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was as good as any *** hotel.

Only concern was the car park was not visible from the guest house.

In short: Everything was excellent! Cilla, the host, was very helpful and super friendly! We felt right at home from the beginning. Rooms: Everything about this b&b looked quite new, modern, stylish and nice. The room was clean and big enough for two people plus two suitcases to still walk around easily. Tea making facilities and a mini-fridge! Also a little safe at no extra fee. Nice big flat screen tv (mounted to the wall at a very good angle) with a dvd player and lots of connectors (hdmi, etc..). Spacious bed with cute lamps on their nightstand'S. Lots of sockets for your notebooks, iPads or whatever. The bathroom is big enough, with a nice shower cabin. There is also some rails where you can pre-heat your towels. Neat. All in all the room and facilities looked like a well done remodel, that had been looked after very well in the past. Other Areas: The room and the whole Hotel had a lovely, homely atmosphere with matching drapes, wallpaper and even matching blankets. It also has nice framed pictures of the Newquay and the area (instead of stock paintings). Breakfast: Nice breakfast area with a quite a range (different cornflakes, fresh fruit, muffins, ... ) to select from, if you wish to divert from the traditional full English Breakfast. Also your breakfast really freshly cooked and made as you wish (you have to express what you like the day before). Location: The Hotel is situated right next to the high-street and has lots of shops and restaurants just around the corner (mini markets, off-license, Wetherspoon, ...). A nice touch: Right before the door, when you leave the Hotel, you will find some complementary sweets and shortbread together with flyers and information about the area. Extras: The concept of "couples only" (no children!) scores extra points with me.

There is nothing we did not like! Other people might have a problem with breakfast served only between 8:45 and 9:30, but I certainly did not.

Fantastic service and care from the owners. Fantastic breakfast with a good selection. Cyclist friendly hotel made our stay a very good one.

found Cilla & Mike went out of there way to be helpful the food & and the room were excellent and mini fridge was added bonus!! and we will booked again
